  • Yale vs Harvard football game!!!

    9.2
    "Superb"
That was really good episode. I liked the football game event and how everyone was excited about it.
The best parts of the episode were the ones with Emily and Richard in it. I think that they were the shiniest ones in this episode. I wouldn't have imagined that Emily and Richard will be so excited about a football game. They were wearing sports equipment, Emily was making cocktails, Richard was singing songs. Veryyyy entertaining!!! It was also interesting that Richard has been keeping contact with his college girlfriend. Emily was just mad at him for not telling her. I just loved Emily and Richrad in this episode.
Another great part was the one with the Lorelai and Jason's date. I think that I haven't seen such a weird date in the history of television. The two seem so different but are so wonderful together. I think that they will be very funny couple. I liked the idea of buying food from the supermarket and eat outside, not in the fancy restaurant.
I also loved the atmosphere before the big game. Everyone was affected by the atmosphere. There should be scenes during the match and some things should have happened during the game but the episode is still great that way.
The end was shocking with Paris kissing the profesor.WOWmoreless

  • Lorelai goes out with Jason, Emily discovers something Richard has been keeping from her. Good episode.

    "Superb"
I liked this one, it was interesting to see them all go to the game. The Emily/Richard rift was understandable, Richard should have just told Emily about his meetings with this woman. How nasty was it of Emily to then blame Lorelai, this is what persuades her to go out with Jason. Who I'm not sure if I like yet, he doesn't seem like Lorelai's type, the whole separate room in the restaurant proved that.

But it was entertaining to see them go on this date, why wouldn't he eat if she said it was good? Anyway, the market was amusing when they both saw products they needed. It seems they'll be going out again soon. Paris was alright here, not seen much. I can't believe she was kissing that professor, he looks about 50 or even 60.

The teenage guy Luke employed was weird but it was funny to see him drive everyone away. As usual, Luke's outburst was entertaining. I like the idea of Lane working at the diner. Look forward to more, what will Rory say to Paris after seeing him with the professor?moreless

  • An inside view on Yale's tradition, the chants, the game, the people.

Luke has a new employee, a guy that is not the most clean one.
Lorelai gets a very tempting invitation for dinner with Jason.

The football Yale game is here and everyone is coming, Lorelai wants to go too lol

That Brennan is disgusting, really! I too would ask Luke to fire him.

The game day is full of activities, it starts early and it's a long day. First thing is the cheers to Dan, the dog. And Richard singing "bulldog bulldog" was really fun!
And the caravan was great too.

And a person form the past appears, Pennilyn Lott, Richards girlfriend before Emily. The fact that Lorelai even talked to her made her get angry. And later when she discovers that Richard has been having lunch with her for the last 30 and something years is the drop of water, she was really mad.
And the fact that Emily yells with Lorelai makes her accept the date with Jason.

All town runs away from Luke's diner because of Brennan. He finally fires him. Finally!!

The date stars good then is gets cold when the table Jason reserved is not good for Lorelai, she likes the noise. Then they leave but they both are hungry, they end up going on and on in the car looking for food that both like. They end up at the supermarket, doing some shopping and paying one of the employees Jamal so they could get in the storage part. They had a great date sitting at the supermarket door.

And a dark truth is revealed to Rory, Paris is with a professor, Asher Fleming.moreless

i thought that i would never see the gilmore girls attend or for some of them partically attend a football game i thought that they were really not into sports and yes i know that they were basically forced into it. the way that richard and emily tailgate was funny could it even be considered tailgating? i thought that it was funny that we found out that richard was having lunch with an ex girlfriend for many years and that emily did not know. it was funny how she found out and that she fliped out after hearing about it. who knew that emily would end up basically be the reason lorelai hooks up with jason.moreless

    • When Lorelai and Rory enter Luke's diner, they see that all the tables are full. They decide to hover by tables in order to rush the occupant. Lorelai stands over a cyber-geek and Rory hovers by an old couple. In the next scene, they are pushing together the tables vacated, however, Lorelei is pushing the old couple's table and Rory is pushing the cyber-geek's table. Edit
    • When Lorelai introduces Emily to Paris, Emily says that she met her at Rory's 16th birthday party, but that wasn't the last time they have met each other. The other time was when Rory had to do that business project and Emily and Richard's house. Paris was in Rory's group, therefore, they met again there. They also met at the Bracebridge Dinner. Edit
    • When they meet with the girls at the gates, Richard and Emily first say that they have been going to the Yale-Harvard game for 32 years. Since they got to know each other in college, it has to be more than that. Richard later says that he's been having lunch with Pennilyn for 39 years - since the time they got married with Emily. So they must have been visiting this game for at least 39-40 years. Edit
