    • TRIVIA (1)

    • QUOTES (1)

      • Carl: I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, Andy. I hope there's no hard feelings.
Andy Gibb: No, don't be silly. Listen, why don't you stay and watch us rehearse?
Carl: That's very generous of you son, but I hate your music.
        Andy Gibb: Thank you.

    • NOTES (4)

      • Instead of the normal closing theme song, they replay Nell and Andy Gibb singing "Up Where We Belong".

      • Andy's band members are also credited (as Band Members), in the following order:
Dennis Bryon, John Eidsvoog, Bryan Garofolo, William E. Purse, Rick Robbins.

      • Nell and Andy Gibb perform "Up Where We Belong"

      • The opening sequence and theme song has changed. Nell takes a picture of the family on the couch in the living room as the credits roll. The theme song "Gimme a break I sure deserve it..." is now changed to "Gimme a break, now I know what it takes, I'm putting a new face on the old one, ready for anything...", sung by none other than Nell Carter herself.

The reason that Gimme a Break! changed its theme song is because Nell Carter was getting mad at the first set of writers of the original theme song so she had new writers make a new theme song for the show, thus the birth of the theme song "Ready for Anything."
