  • Seems like the writers actually tried on this one.

Joan is having a hard time dealing with the hasty (probably permanent) absence of Aaron. So, instead of cheating with the cable guy or Lynn, she decides to take care of the problem herself. But, instead of keeping this fact to herself-she ask for advice from her friends. Who instead of helping, end up confusing poor Joan more than she normally is. In the meantime, Maya and Darnell consider adopting a baby. Then think the better of it. Again, this episode ended like most this season-no real decisions made and not as many laughs as there should be. But better than the beginning of PT (post-Toni).moreless

      Maya: He's your son?

Maya: Oh. Okay I am not trying to stir up any trouble or anything, but I was neighborhood-watching, and I saw you tongue-kissing a tall white man in khakis who clearly, not Adiens daddy.
Allison: Yes he is. That's my husband Scott. Aiden is adopted.
Maya: Oh! I am so sorry. He is so adorable! Is he African?
Allison: No. No, he was born here in LA.
Maya: Oh, okay well you know I just figured it was one of those Madonna-Angelina situations.
Allison: No we did not want to go overseas, not when there is so many adoptable kids here to adopt.
