  • Frying turkey should really be left to professionals, not Maya with cocoa butter and jumper cables...

    8.0
but, again the craziness of the girlfriends is what makes this series funny. It's Thannksgiving, and Joan meets a man (played by Duane Martin) at 847 (Davis's restaurant). She invites him to her home for a fried turkey dinner, alone-as the only guest. Yet, the other women(and men) didn't seem to get the memo. Lynn, Maya, Toni, William and Davis all crash Joan's fun. Maya claims she knows how to cook a fried turkey, but she ends up starting a fire and nearly burning the house down. By the end of the episode, all the univited guests are sent home with a can of beans as parting gifts, and Joan finally gets to share a kiss with the man she really invited.moreless
