  • Hannah's Diary

    8.5
Hannah gets a new job and her new boss is a bit of "touchy person" and he proceeds to give her a massage that includes breast grabbing but when she tells her coworkers about they say that it's just something you put up with, saying that Rich, the boss, is really a nice guy so he can get away with it. Shoshanna runs into a guy from her old summer camp and the two make arrangements to hang out that night. Jessa almost loses the kids she watches while out at the park while talking to the other nannies which makes her lose face. Charlie and his friend in his band look through Marnie's things and find nothing interesting so they look in Hannah's room and find her diary which the other guy says that they should leave but Charlie insists on reading it. Hannah also receives a pic of Adam that is vulgar and he sends her a message saying that it's not for her. She gets fed up with him after talking to her coworkers and goes to his apartment to break up with him. Not strong enough to go through with it she jumps into his arms and the two proceed to kiss passionately and this encounter makes her late for a gig of Charlie's band. Shoshanna makes a move on the guy from camp and after getting the clothes mostly off she confesses that she's a virgin and he puts a stop to it right there saying that virgins get attached but he's be willing to have sex with her after she lost it. Hannah is also informed by her boss to let her know if the touching gets to be too much saying that he himself is a "touchy person." Jessa tells her employer about almost losing his kids that day to which he understandingly tells her about a time when he lost her too. Hannah finally arrives at Charlie's gig and his band plays a song called Hannah's diary dedicated to Marnie and Hannah. The song's lyrics detail how Hannah thinks that Marnie should stop whining and break up with Charlie and that he's not a real man and should find someone who can handle his smothering kind of love. Charlie ends the song and storms off stage and Marnie spills a drink on Hannah and of course Jessa thinks that it was awesome. The best part was when Shoshanna asked after the song's lyrics started getting angry, "Is this a love song?" I love how ditzy she is, she reminds me of one of my exes. Great episode and hopefully we can see some sort of dramatic fallout next week that puts Marnie and Hannah against one another.moreless
