What city is Glee set in? In the episode Showmance they show an Ohio license plate and make reference to Columbus. The school they showed had an outdoor corridor with just an overhead cover and and openings where windows would be. You'd never see that in Ohio with the bitter winter weather.

Glee is set in the (fictional) school of William McKinley High School in the (real) city of Lima, Ohio.

Hmmm.....wonder why they chose Lima? They talked about Josh Groban coming to town to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Very unusual that someone would go up to Cleveland and just "stop by" in Lima. They're not very close.

I guess 3 hours is as close as he would ever be and he really wanted to server that restraining order.

Yep-- the folks here are correct. The setting is Lima, Ohio. You can hear references to the city when some of the characters call each other a "Lima Loser."

I had wondered what was meant by the "Lima Loser" comment.
