  • Matthew Morrison is a teacher at McKinley's High School. He was in Glee Club when he was in school and they won a national championship. He volunteers to run the Glee Club to bring it back to its former glory.

Pretty good series Pilot. Very reminiscent of High School Musical without the student buy in. You have the usual school clicks, and a lot of the standard school teacher stereotypes. The sloppy male gym coach, the mannish female coach for the cheerleaders (played by Jane Lynch), the shy unassuming female teacher, and the bossy Principal who only worries about the budget.

There were a few surprises like when Mr. Morrison bribed a football player to be in Glee by saying they found marijuana in his locker( which was never their). So he could be in Glee and they wouldn't tell his mother or it would be detention and that would go on his permanent record!

Morrison almost quits when his wife gets pregnant but he gets the bug at the end and decides to stay in teaching. I enjoyed the music and the singers. They could use more of a choir to back them up but I guess that could be expensive for a series like this. Too many characters for a weekly dramedy equals too high a cost.

Overall a very good start and a show I would recommend. Thanks for reading...

There was so much going on! Usually in first episodes main characters are introduced and nothing exciting happens. In Glee we see a lot more. New characters are very diverse, there is a lot of action and conflicts, not only between students but teachers as well. There were many funny moments. And of course a lot of singing. I like main characters and I hope that we will see some development of all of them not only Finn and Rachel. Is there a possibility of a romance between Will and Emma? She is incredibly funny. It's not a striking show but I look forward to watch next episodes.

This wasn't the first episode of the series that I watched, but I can definitely see how it got peope's attention. I think this is the perfect way to start a series and set up the characters, their storylines, and the overall plot.

Each of the characters is obviously an exaggerated stereotype that we've seen in a lot of other shows and it adds to the humour. Mr. Schue - He remembers when the glee club ruled the school and he's determined to get it back to that status again.

Rachel - She is dead set on being a star and she makes sure everyone knows it and no one gets in her way. Finn - He's not the brightest bulb in the box, but he's got a good heart and though reluctant to join at first, he comes to love Glee Club.

Mercedes - Loud. Diva. Those words come to mind when I think of her. Kurt - Flamboyant and has a great voice. He's the most interesting character to me.

Tina - She has a stutter, but she doesn't let it stop her from performing.

Artie - He's in a wheelchair, but he has a great voice and puts what he can into the performance.

Quinn - HBIC cheerleader, not enough of her to make a good judgement.

Puck - He's a bully who thinks Glee Club is lame.

Each of the characters that we are introduced to are interesting and they seem like they will be great characters as they develop.

The final performance of 'Don't Stop Believing' was amazing and it remains one of my favourite performances on the show.

Will Schuester, a former glee club star, takes over McKinley High School's glee club in the hopes of restoring it to its former glory. He is faced with the challenge of converting a group of misfits, including fame-hungry Rachel Berry, into a team of singers. When Will discovers that football quarterback Finn Hudson has a secret talent for singing, he blackmails him into joining the club. Meanwhile, Will's pregnant wife Terri pushes Will to find a higher paying job to support his family. He considers quitting his job and commitment to the glee club, but ends up returning to their aid after concluding that it would kill him to see them win the Nationals without him. My first thoughts on this show is that it's very fasted paced, which is a really good thing to a tv show, because you don't get many of them. The United Kingdom finally got this show to air, which I'm excited about. I really enjoyed the storyline, for a pilot which is sometimes unusual but I think it was because it was fast paced. Anyway, I like most of the characters storyline, I don't think I can wait until the new year for the rest of the episodes as the one I watch was just a sneak peek, but i guess I will have to wait.
  • The events seem to happen at the speed of light which is exactly what should be done in a pilot !

Pilots are usually boring, most shows, even my favorites have some of the suckiest pilot episodes on earth and you know why ? Because writers like to take their time developing the storylines which is usually a good thing for a show so nothing is rushed into an unrealistic pit of cheesy events and stories but for Glee, fast is a better ! Everything from the auditions to the getting Finn to join the Glee club was hilarious. Most of the cast were introduced brilliantly, especially Rachel and Sue Sylvester and you get a huge taste of what you'll be getting every week if you keep on watching Glee ! Loved it !

Spanish teacher Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) learns that Sandy Ryerson (Stephen Tobolowsky), the head of William McKinley High School's glee club has been fired for inappropriate behavior towards male student Hank Saunders (Ben Bledsoe). The school principal (Iqbal Theba) gives Will permission to take over the club, and he plans to revitalize it, naming the group New Directions. The club members consist of fame-hungry Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), diva Mercedes Jones (Amber Riley), gay soprano Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer), paraplegic electric guitar player Artie Abrams (Kevin McHale) and stuttering goth Tina Cohen-Chang (Jenna Ushkowitz). Will's efforts are derided by Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), head of the school's successful cheerleading team, the Cheerios. His wife Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig) is also unsupportive, suggesting Will become an accountant to increase their income. Rachel threatens to leave the club if Will cannot find a male vocalist with talent comparable to hers. When the school's football coach Ken Tanaka (Patrick Gallagher) allows Will to try and recruit football team members, he discovers that quarterback Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) is secretly a talented singer. He plants marijuana in Finn's locker, and blackmails him into joining New Directions. Finn, determined not to disappoint his widowed mother, complies.

Will takes New Directions to see Vocal Adrenaline, a rival club, perform. He is accompanied by Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays), the school's mysophobic guidance counselor, who has an unrequited crush on him. Vocal Adrenaline perform an impressive rendition of Amy Winehouse's "Rehab", which leaves New Directions worried about their chances of competing in the regional show choir competition. When Will returns from the performance, Terri informs him she is pregnant. Believing he needs to support his family, Will regretfully tells the club he is resigning, and applies for a job as an accountant. Finn is attacked by the football team for his involvement with New Directions, and initially decides to quit the club. The team traps Artie in a portable toilet which they intend to tip over, however, Finn refuses to take part. He apologizes to the glee club members, and the group resolves to continue on without Will. Emma urges Will to re-consider his decision to leave, and when he comes across New Directions performing "Don't Stop Believin'" he decides to stay, telling the club he couldn't bear to see them win Nationals without him.
  • "Don't Stop Believing!" This Glee club is great!

Finally I have a reason to be greatful to the nauseating "High School Musical" and pointless sequels, because like it or not, without those movies this little gem would never have been made. A comedy drama a cut above the rest as a high school teacher Will decides to try and make a success out of the runt of the litter group Glee Club. "Do you want to Captain the Titanic too?" Principal Figgins asks him believing his challenge to be impossible, but nevertheless agreeing to give him a go, much to the annoyance of ballsy sardonic gym teacher Sue Sylvester (steals the show!) who loses some of the cash for her Cheerleaders (Cherio's) to this Glee club and vows to destroy it by any means possible.

The Glee club is made up of a bunch of misfits that don't fit in anywhere other than this club, the kid always thrown in the skip, the nerd, the I think he's gay but not sure kid, a kid in a wheelchair, a couple of asians and an Aretha Franklin wannabe with a great voice, they are lead by the bossy but talented Rachel Berry who has a crush on the star quarterback Finn Hudson who is blackmailed into joining by Will when he hears him sing, together they make up a less annoying version of Zack and Vanessa, in a bit of a twist he is already dating head cheerleader Quinn Ferbray who also wants to destroy Glee to one, keep hold of her boyfriend and two, keep mentor Sue happy in that order.

Completing the teaching staff is an over the top OCD sufferer Emma and the coach Ken, Ken is crazy about Emma but she only has eyes for Will, she follows him like a puppy who doesn't like dirt or pysical contact of any form, although she'd probably make allowances for Will who unfortunately for her is married to a money hungary Terri, she wants a bigger house with a flash kitchen and huge hallway and a baby, Will needs to work extra hours when she tells him she's pregnant and soon finds himself neglecting the glee kids and quitting, they decide to go it alone and do a very good performance of "Don't Stop Believing" witnessed by Will and a disgruntled Sue and Quinn, While Will decides to go back, Sue and Quinn begin plotting as Quinn has spotted an attraction between Finn and Rachel, like Ken has spotted between Emma and Will, but because of the baby Will denies his feelings just as Terri finds out she isn't actually pregnant, but decides to keep that from Will and continue the deception, but she does back down on the bigger house so Will can quit his extra jobs and concentrate on his teaching and the Glee club.

This is funny with some great talent and the songs sound great, its obvious too that there are some strong storylines that will keep this show running along nicely and I look forwards to seeing where they will go, a great opening episode that can fill you with glee!

I've got the chance to re-watch this episode after the first 13 and I have to say that it was a very good introduction and they made the whole thing very interesting.

Finn defending Artie from the rest of his team was really nice and his statement was true, so the tea couldn't do anything but agree. I like how he could turn some bad experience into something encouraging and worth fighting for. Rachel's character can be so annoying but fun at the same time. Great voice she has. Will's wife is terrible. And I hated to see Will, a nice, young, humble man have a wife who won't support him and enjoys bossing around.

Looking forward to watch the re-runs. I may find something new.
  • An edgy version of High School Musical-minus bad singing, acting, and the whole "Disney" perspective

    "Perfect"
Pilot episodes of shows are usually not as good as the episodes that follow, but Glee's pilot is definitely an exception. It had a little bit of everything and was filled with events, but everything was planned out and the episode closed nicely at the end. The music in this episode was better than the episodes after it, the character introductions were brief but full of meaning, and the legacies of a few seemingly minor things were formed and cemented during this 40 minutes of Sue's one-liners, Terri's constant whining and nagging, and Emma staring longingly at Will while being longingly stared at by Ken. Some things in this episode really stood out to me: Finn and Rachel telling about how they were inspired to be involved in music, the Glee club singing "Don't Stop Believing" at the end with everyone watching from a distance, and Emma's sweet, innocent fawning over Will. The music was better than the episodes after it, especially the dramatic music when Will was consulting with the three different teachers. But it wasn't just that--there was a variety of creative music heard in the background of emotional scenes that enhanced the mood and couldn't be found in the preceding episodes. This episode was an indication of a true hit. Only one thing bothered me when I first watched it-if the first episode is really the best, then wouldn't it be bad to have our expectations go up and the episode quality decrease?

This pilot has everything you need. It has the drama, the start of the relationships and the drama. It has a lot in a first episode but that is exactly what you need to catch the attention.

This is definitely one of these programmes that hasn't got the most amazing acting, or the singing [especially the guy] but it is definitely got a charm about it that is really amazing :)

I definitely love Puck and I'm glad we get to see him more in later episodes.

And Emma - how adorable is she! She actually reminds me of myself! How weird is that.

I absolutely adore Kurt - I actually wish the boy was real!!
  • A fantastic start to what will hopefully be an amazing show.

I loved this episode. It had me singing in my seat through all of the music performances. It opens with a shot of a cheerleader and tricks you into thinking that this might be another typical high school show about popular kids but, it's not. In a way it reminded me of how another great show about teenagers started. That show of course was Freaks and Geeks. Every single moment of this episode was great. I don't fast forward through a single bit when I rewatch it. From the moment when Kurt gets thrown into the dumpster to the spectacular performance of Journey's Don't Stop Believing', it was amazing. There is not another show like this and I hope that it stays on the air for a long time. That is, if all future episodes follow in this one's example.
  • Singing to Our Hearts' Content

    "Superb"
What's It About?: A ragtag High School glee club. Underdogs and Optimism. Music, Singing, and Dancing. Finding One's Place in the World. Triumph of the Human Spirit (okay, maybe that's going too far ).

The story lines aren't forced and not cheesy at all, unlike in so many other high school/teen shows. The characters, while somewhat animated (I believe they should be), are realistic and have heart. And the musical numbers make you want to sing and dance in your living room/bedroom. Or at least snap your fingers and tap your feet on the floor. Just check out the clip of their rendition of "Don't Stop Believing".

Verdict: As Will says, "it's a nine. We want a ten." Actually, I'm fine with a nine. It's hard to find a show these days that can score a nine, IMO. And I don't think any show deserves a 10. It's like saying it has absolutely zero flaws. So nine's really good! I'm not a big fan of musicals and I haven't got a single musical bone in my body, but I've grown to love this show!

Let's face it, if you were to recommend this to a friend, they'd probably look at you as though you had ten heads. Another High school Musical? C'mon, it's what I initially thought when I heard about this show. Of course, then I realized who created this series and it all made sense – it's from the guy who made plastic surgery, and the lives of those surgeons, look cool, sexy and slick (not to mention all kinds of messed up). He's also responsible for the extremely underrated, but highly entertaining short-lived series Popular – he deserves credit for Mary-Cherry alone. __

There's an impressive cast to be found – some Ryan Murphy alumni, of course – and everyone gets a nice, if somewhat brief, introduction in this pilot. Sure, it's an ensemble of clichés, but that's what is so inviting about this one, it knows this and will no doubt turn some of these typical misfit characters on their heads. I got a serious Sister Act vibe from this episode (sans the whoopy Goldberg/religious slant) what with the regionals and so on, and there seems to be a similar energy, too.

The musical numbers are performed with an impressive range from the cast – the two leads in particular have two fantastic duets. As for the other glee members, they don't exactly get that much screen time, but they all have a funny moment, if nothing else. Interestingly enough, it's the teachers who really appeal at this stage in the game. They get quite a bit of screen time and much like the 'teens' in this comedy are walking-talking clichés, but they are played by a strong cast and with a witty script, manage to pull it off.
  • Felt like I was watching Hairspray: the series

Fox has been on a marketing juggernaut with Glee. Billboards, buses, buildings, banners- everywhere! They really put all their eggs in one basket with this one, even being so bold as to premiere the pilot months before the show is scheduled to officially air. They must reeeeaaalllly like this show! But did I?

I'm a theater guy. Went to an Arts magnet, studied and got a degree in the Arts and everything. So this definitely should have clicked with me. Song & dance kids have surrounded me most of my life. There's definitely a lot to appreciate in this show. I really liked the snappy editing and quirky tone to the show. The subject matter doesn't necessitate this be a heavy-handed drama. There's a silly self-awareness to people that are actually in glee club, that I think this pilot captures very well. I also personally loved the acapella music cues, with actual voices be-bopping and scatting to transition scenes. Fantastic! The value of talent in these students, who as I well know, are considered outcasts. The untapped potential and following your dream messages are all here.

My criticism comes from the fact there are at least a dozen cliches in this pilot alone. Football player that risks popularity to induldge his secret talent. Check. Rag-tag group of losers who are all very special. Check. Secret faculty romance. Check. Follow your dream moral to the story. check. Etc, etc. We've seen this stuff in hundreds of shows and movies before. I wish the creativeness that went into the style of the show also went into the storytelling. The lead girl is so chipper it borders on annoying, and I hope they tone that fluffiness down in future episodes. She has potential to be a really great character to follow if they keep her layered. And her voice is amazing! So much so, in fact, that the jock that plays opposite her, Corey Monteith, is completely smashed by her vocals. He can't keep up at all, and pairing them together only highlights how mediocre he is as a singer. Something must be done about him.

Overall, even though the show is a comedy I didn't really laugh at too many things; not enough of the hilarious Jane Lynch, who is disappointingly only in a supporting role. The football coach seems miscast, but The Glee teacher, Matthew Morrison, is fine, and I also liked the super cute Jayma Mays (one of several Heroes characters on this show) But there's a great spirit to Glee, and I wouldn't mind checking out a few more eps. You could do a lot worse on TV these days. Grade: B
  • Great show. Love Finn's stepdad, too. Hope we see more of him.

This show is a lot of fun. I love the dynamics between all the characters. Especially between Finn and his step dad who is now this weird retro 80s guy who works in the second most embarrassing job at the school. I think there could be a lot of love and inner conflict shown by examining how difficult it must be for him to have his former idol, be around all the time with a new chick, and working as this weirdo gardener. You can tell they love each other, but it wouldn't be an easy situation. Especially with the mom being all heartbroken and stuff.

Glee has been a big surprise for me. Indeed, I didn't really liked High School Musical so i just though I wouldn't like this show. Mistake !!

This first episode was amazing : it was funny, sensitive and full of surprises(like the rehab song !!)

I love the cast too, with actors I've already loved before (Matthew Morrison and Jayma Mays for ugly Betty, How I met your mother and Joey)

Avery character is very caricaturist so evrybody is different, they are all both funny and touching, I love them !! I'll be back this fall to watch next episodes, don't miss it !!

A very entertaining show to watch. If you grew up in the 80's you'll love the music. I like the chemistry of the cast as well. It's got it all, the jocks, the band, the cheerleaders, the disabled, and every spectrum of Nationality you can think of. Almost a Disney like approach to covering everybody they can to reach a large audience. If it brings more peace to this world I'm all for it! Lea has a beautiful voice. Show's like this always bring you back to High School and you forget you've gotten older for at least an hour. :)
  • Nice to have something other than mindless drivel about people acting like fools for money and fame. Really enjoyed the tallent exhibited in a fun and joyful way.

The cast is relatable as true to life characters and not people being evil to one another for personal gain. A show the entire family can watch. I really like the use of modern music in a choral style, shows that musicians don't have to have masive bands, electronics, and mixing on every song, tallent can really make or break a song.

Can't wait for more. Hope the show doesn't get burried in the line-up. Really enjoyed the "costumes" they weren't trashy, they were something everyone could find in their closets. They looked like real people instead of overly skinny kids with clothing from only the most fashionable stores.

I think Glee is a really great show. I enjoyed it so much, it gave me a happy feeling. Can not wait to see the next episode. I did not know what to expect but it was so much fun to watch it. I never seen a show like this so it was a real suprise. By the way, the guy (I think his name is Finn, I am not sure) is really cute. I like boys who can sing and be sportive as well. And for those who have not seen the show yet it really is a must.
  • This show was so good. I so enjoyed everything about it....the high school drama, the pressure and those strong enough to stand up for what they want...thats real life !!!! I so hope this show comes to TV

I loved it....and most music/glee club people (past and present) will love this show. Its fun,it brings out the talent in people who are often times looked over. High school today is rough...i loved this show and way to go to those who choose what THEY want...its all part of life. Please bring this show to TV. Kids today need to see that all kinds of people make a team...and not just sports. High school needs these programs...we had them in the past and kids need them now...and fun stuff to do..modern and exciting for them. It is hard work but this show was great and so possitive.
  • Glee has proven itself and has made me excited for the series continuing in the fall.

I was sold to this show the instant I listened to the Glee cast version of "Don't Stop Believin'". I was a little hesitant to buy into this show to begin with and had a constant struggle within myself whether or not to watch it, but that one song decided it for me.

The first episode of this series was a lot of exposition, but what can you except from the pilot of a new show? The characters that were established were funny, quirky, and very stereotypical high school, which made it all the more funny. I loved all of the characters and there were plenty of good parts that were both touching and hilarious. As a theater kid myself, I thought this show was very applicable because, even though I know Glee Club is very different from theater itself, I could definitely sense the similarities between the two groups of people and I loved it. I would highly recommend this show based on this one episode because it has such high potential. The characters can go in any which way in future episodes and it will be interesting to see where the producers and writers go with this show. Though this is a highly innovative show and very new conceptually, I have no doubt it will continue to impress audiences in the fall. Give it a chance, it will win you over!
  • Glee is definitely a show for outcasts and theater geeks (me) but I'm not sure I'm feeling the magic in it QUITE yet.

    7.0
    "Good"
The first episode does have a lot packed into it. Too much. It all revolves around a teacher (I forgot his name his character was so memorable) that wants to get the Glee club back into action in school. This is done in the first 5 minutes. He is given the rights to start a Glee club but doesn't get financial aid from the principal of the school which, from experience, is very realistic. The kids start joining one by one, a ghetto chick, a crazed out "I will become famous" girl, a cripple, a jock, and a feminine boy. The episode focuses on how the teacher's wife wants him to become an accountant and get proper money, the jock having to leave his team and join the Glee club (which, much like High School Musical, they don't like) and the teacher's relationship with this crazed out health-freak teacher. I love the idea for the show and the touch of campy-ness it has (you can definitely tell it is from the creator of Nip/Tuck). It is definitely for outcasts and theater nerds like me and I see a lot of potential going for it. But there are some MAJOR problems standing in its way.

While the musical numbers are fun and upbeat (although very lip-synched) they aren't enough to keep the show going. The comedy was great, too. But the character development was weak weak weak! I didn't feel anything for the characters. They put together the Glee club in one episode and somehow formed this magical bond to take the jocky kid out of his group and into the Glee club which didn't have any emotional impact behind it. The teacher also goes to leave the school and leave the kids in this emotional scene that really didn't effect anyone because hey, they only knew each other for, what, 30 minutes (episode time)? The ONLY scene that I thought I felt any emotion behind was the ending scene where they sing and everyone is watching them secretly. The show seems more T.V. movie-ish to me. But I could be proved wrong. I'll tune in in the fall...
  • Fun and interesting, but to many glaring inconsistencies to pull you in and feel real.

    6.0
    "Fair"
The songs themselves are alot of fun, as are alot of the ideas in this pilot (Though there's too much packed into an hour). I have two major issues with it.

1: The lead actor who's getting this whole thing started is a little overboard and campy.

2: Apparently 5 singers can get the same sound as an entire a glee club with 30 or so people. A song can sound great with only 5 singers. There's no need to make a song have more people then you can afford to put onscreen as characters. I'm sorry, but the end song with three back-up singers and two soloists cannot possibly sound like it pretends to sound. There are very obviously more voices then there are people. They should really pick between paying a few dancing extras to move on stage and pretend to sing, or make the songs sound at least like 7 or so people singing, not 30. Also at one point the lead singer is randomly playing the drums as a little solo, then he stands up and hands the sticks to the drummer while the drums in the music keep going. I know it's just a tv show but inconsistencies like that just pull you out of it and scream "We're dancing on a stage and lip-synching!"

These don't completely ruin the show for me, I love hearing the songs (As a shameless plug here, I'm part of an a capella group at the university of Oregon, so if you're into that you can see a video of a recentish video with some of our songs at http://www.youtube.com/user/MindTheGapVideos. If you like us through poorish quality video recordings, you'll love our CD coming out sometime in the next year!)

And back to the review, it showed promise, but if it continues to be that disjointed and unrealistic I don't see myself being able to watch it in the future, even for the music.
  • Glee: A delightful mix of big talent, big songs, big characters, and big plot lines.... There's only one problem: It's kind of a big mess.

    So, Glee.

Glee has extremely talented actors and very interesting character roles for them to fill. Glee has a very catchy soundtrack as well as performance pieces.

Glee has a witty sense of humor.

Glee has an interesting idea at play.

    Glee has good direction.

One issue: Glee's a big mess. There's no structure or consistent style; it ends up as a shimsham mixup of a bunch of good ideas. This is not to say that Glee is bad; on the contrary, it's very entertaining. It just attempted to mush TOO much stuff into one hour.

But here's a summary of the plot, and I think you'll know what I mean by a mess: There's the glee club led by this metro guy who may or may not like boys who is fired after being accused by this girl who is star struck but misunderstood and uncool and hated but it's ok because the ex glee club teacher sells pot to the gym teacher so Matthew Morrison takes over the club but has to pay out of pocket to keep it up even though his crazy wife and he are attempting to get preggo. On that note, she's an overbearing dream crusher, and their marriage is a little jacked up and there's this other teacher who is OCD about germs but has a crush on Matthew Morrison but wants him to follow his dreams even if it means unsupporting his baby. In the meantime, there's like five great characters introduced but then trampled over by only getting one or two lines, and then suddenly we're on Finn who is the quarterback dating the oddly "Saved!" cheerleader and Finn here is a nice guy who can sing and Matthew Morrison frames him to join glee and the competitions tough and Matt might not stay on and Finn quits and then he unquits and there's an inspirational grassman, and a cheerleading coach who is cray but the ending is happy.

    Ok, gasp for air.

That's just a summary. Like there was more.

Basically, Glee needs to tone down the amount of information and story they tell in one episode.

Because this one was great, but a bit of a headache. I'll prob tune in in the fall.
  • A very enjoyable romp..so much more than a show about glee club.

This show was a pleasant surprise that really blew me away. The plot of this pilot episode basically centered around revamping the school's waning glee club and introducing the main characters. The young unknown actors were a real treat. The quarterback with a heart and a surprisingly good voice that is forced to join the new glee club, "New Directions," is much more believable in that role than his Disney counterpart Zac Efron. His partner, the female lead, has a phenomenal voice and really reminds me of a younger version of Idina Menzel. Near the end, when the two of them sing Journey's "Don't Stop Believing," the show really comes together.

Overall, a solid, solid effort. I am looking forward to new episodes in the fall!
  • Glee-tastic!

I love this show! The writing is hysterical and the cast was spot on. Kudo's to the mullit wearing lawn guy singing rock n'roll. He reminded me of what a true idol can be, maybe not your typical hero but yet someone fun and exciting that makes you want to say YEAH and just go for it. I appreciate the diversity in the characters and the fact that drugs and gay rights were touched on in a humble yet positive way. This show has so much potential to stay on the air for a long time and I hope that it will. I can not wait to get more Glee in my world!!
