Tina says to Marley, "New Rachel, my butt. I knew Rachel Berry. I was friends with Rachel Berry. And you, Marley, are no Rachel Berry." This is an allusion to the infamous smack-down that Senator Lloyd Bentsen gave to Senator Dan Quayle during their Vice-Presidential debate in 1988. Quayle made some comments comparing himself to JFK and Bentsen responded with almost the exact same words: "I knew Jack Kennedy. I was friends with Jack Kennedy. Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy."
