Will wants to start a family soon with Emma, so he could really use an increase in salary. If he wants to get the one open tenured position at McKinley, he needs to improve his Spanish, so Will decides to take a class at night with none other than Ricky Martin (appearing as Senor Martinez).
Spanish class inspires Will to invite Martinez to Glee to lead them in this week's assignment: Latin songs. Martinez introduces himself to the kids with a Spanglish version of "Sexy and I Know It" by LMFAO.
Sue Coach also has baby fever, and goes so far as to hit up the men from New Directions for sperm donations. Enter synchronized swim coach, Roz (aka Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Nene Leakes, to set Sue straight: 1. She has no motherly instincts whatsoever; 2. She's as old as a hill; 3. She's convinced she'll get the tenure position. But it doesn't convince Sue. She still thinks she can do anything.
Meanwhile, Sam and Mercedes are considering getting back together. They decide to enlist the help of Emma in order to talk through their issues. Do they have enough passion for each other? Will Mercedes leave her boyfriend on the football team? Mercedes sings "Don't Wanna Lose You" by Gloria Estefan to find her way through.
Sam tries to do the same with a mashup of "Bamboleo" by the Gypsy Kings and "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias. While the guys perform back-up, Sam shows off his Spanish.
When it's Santana's turn to turn in her assignment, she duets with Senor Martinez on Madonna's "La Isla Bonita."
At the end of the episode Principal Figgins reveals that the teacher her selects for tenure is Emma. Looks like Will will get the badly needed extra money after all.
