Global Wonders is a culturally enriching children's animated DVD series written by by award-winning authors and creators such as Sindy McKay, Ed Wexler, and Jim Latham. The series introduces children ages 3 to 5 to different people, traditions, languages, and instruments from varying countries across the globe - in the most fun and entertaining way imaginable. By becoming acquainted with characters such as Alisha from South Africa, Marisa from Mexico, and Rajeev from India, children are able to broaden their view of the world, as well as their general knowledge. Other advantages to the show are the ways in which the content can heighten children's self-awareness, and ultimately their self-esteem. J. Kevin Nugent, Ph.D is a frequent contributor to the show.
