  • Had a lot of promise, but it was alright.

Episode two of "Glory Days" opens with Mike arriving at the house of a child prodigy. The boy's mother is terrified and there are lots of strange noises coming from upstairs. Mike forces his way in and goes upstairs, where the door slams behind him, locking him in. Seems that the boy is possessed by a demon.

This episode started out pretty good. I thought it was an actual demonic possession, but then they revealed the boy was just pretending. Now that angle just did not make sense. I read that The WB forced the show to make changes throughout its short run and I wonder if this was one of them. There are several things that happen in this episode that can't be explained just by saying he pretended, such as flickering lights throughout the house, the boy's unnatural show of strength, etc. But still, this was better than an episode of let's say..."Charmed", so it's all good, just a bit of a disappointment.moreless
