As I watched this show's opening credits I was sent into the past. Back to the 60's when the nation was beginning to change and LOVE was in the air. Actually love was on the wall. The artist Robert Indiana had created a poster that appeared on the wall of thousands of teenager's walls. The poster simply said "LOVE." But it was the way it was written that activated my memory. You see, it was written in the exact manner as the logo for Go on, with the first O tilting to the right. We all knew that it said LOVE and not LO VE. Just as we know that the title of this sit-com isn't Go On so much as it is "Goon."
And isn't it true that Matthew Perry usually plays kind of a goonish character in most of the shows he's been in? I'm not knockin' the guy. I find him hilarious. I like this show and appreciate the humor. The characters are good too.
So watch Goon. It's fun and interesting.
Not going to say this is my favorite show, but it is definitely not my least favorite.
