God's Gift

Show Summary

God's Gift is a British television dating game show that is produced by Grenada Television. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall, each week five contestants vie for the affections of audience members by participating in a series of humorous games. Considered risqué due to the subject matter, and heavily maligned by women's groups, God's Gift is broadcast in the early morning hours. The show consists of males, usually ranging between the ages of 18-25, competing in a number of challenges such as singing, dancing, stand-up and feats of strength. A mob of rowdy female participants judge the men on their sex appeal and seduction techniques. Contestants are whittled down after each round and a winner is ultimately crowned. The grand prize winner takes the audience member of his choosing out on a date, which is filmed and broadcast on the following week's show. The show also featured a gay version with the same premise.
