      Bruce sets off for West Papua and travels deep into the jungle in search of a rumored cannibal tribe call the Kombai. The Kombai people are a hunter-gatherer society who live in an area so remote that they remain relatively uninfluenced by modern culture and they still use stone tools.
    • Horse Masters of Mongolia: The Darhad
      Bruce makes his way to Mongolia to stay with the Darhad people. He stays with a family that carries on the tradition of herding cattle, sheep, and horses through steep valleys to find food for grazing. Although this family has satellite TV, there are no paved roads so traveling by horseback is essential and Bruce gets a crash course in horseback riding.moreless
    • African Vision Quest: The Babongo
      Bruce travels to Gabon, Africa, to live with the Babongo tribe. He learns their hunting techniques and an ancient rebirthing ritual.
    • Lost Tribe: The Adis
      Bruce goes to the Himalayan Mountains of India to live with the Adi tribe and learn their rituals.
    • Waking the Spirits: The Sanema
      In the Upper Caura region of Venezuela, Bruce joins a tribe of people calling themselves the Sanema. He goes through a ceremony with the tribe's shaman which includes the use of snuff that makes him hallucinate.
