I'm no fashion expert but overall it looked like there were more fashion hits than misses at last years Golden Globes.  Best by far was Scarlett Johansson!  Least favorite was Cojo, the purple is not working.

I'm sorry but Beyonce looked so ......... Cheap! Eck! Everyone else on that carpet was trying to be elegant and classy with some sexy thrown in to spice it up and Beyonce just looked like a whore. Who dresses her? She looks so out of place on the red carpet. the dress she wore was almost as BAD as the J.Lo green dress.

Beyonces' dress wouldn't have been so bad if she hadn't been striking poses.

okay some off the gowns worn were shockingly pooffy, Rinko Kikuhi ew pompoms and Cameron Diaz just looked like a tower of whipped cream or a vanilla Sundae with a wafer in the top. Way to many Ruffles, If theyed just been as an accent Maybe but all the way up the Skirt and only on one arm I mean I hope she didn't actually Buy it. And as for Steven Cojocaru is that a Male or a female, Rather ambiguous in that flashy red suit, I think it's a female and if so why on Earth is she wearing a Suit to the Golden Globes, If it's a Guy go get a damn Haircut. On the other hand Yunjin Kimand and his Escort was Evangeline Lilly looked stunning. Vanessa Williams should sue the hairdresser, her dress looked gorgeous but her hair was poof. Donald Trump looked very Suavedivine in that lovely soft blue dress. Talking of Blue Dress what on Earth is Edie Falco Wearing, if she didn't have that ridiculous Belt and had let her hair down to soften her rather austere features the color would be nice. Drew Barrymore did okay this year(last years dress was just wrong) She needed to tone down a little on her spray tan though. Abigail Breston will be one to watch she looks so cute in her pretty blue dress. Brangalina needs to actually find something that suits her, Brad needs colour or at least a Jacket that fits, and Ang grey tones so don't look good. Kiefer Sutherland looks so hot in that suit, perfect fit. As for Nicollette Sheridan for your own sake Let Your Hair down and find something pastel blue or mauve, If you have what on a man would be called chiseled features You need your hair down. Now Ellen Pompeo, When are you going to realise Skinny twig Body and Skin tight don't go, at least wear a Bra and something soft and get your hair down, Have Bed hair or something you always look good ruffled. Beyonce looked as she always does, as a woman whom knows what she has and isn't ashamed to use it. At least Vanessa Minnillo knows how to dress with her lovely tan the orange goes so well. Well the rest of them most did okay but some were fantastic, iv'e said my peice FMPOV so tell me what yours were, or of My opinion.

It amazes me beyond all comprehenshion how the "men" (???) seem to forget that they are at a BLACT TIE event. That doesn't mean that you just wear a Tux it means that you should SHAVE damnit, wash your hair, wear a tie (Mr. Klum), and for goodness sake stand up straight. Men already have it easier than the women, how about they put forth some effort and look like they give a damn. All those fools are trying to for that Carey Grant/ Frank Sinatra look/ vibe, but they keep looking at the after pic and not the before

Reese was my favourite. The yellow just popped and she kept it simple with straight hair. And also, because of the bright colour its mainly the only one I remember.

I'd like to mention that Elie Saab is the one who designed Beyonce's dress, and as I heard, it cost her $5,000. anyway, I couldn'd agree more that she looked a bit cheap, oh maybe more than that, but the dress fit perfectly on her, I mean what made this dress looks cool is her captivating body. Sometimes the dress makes the body and others, quite the opposite.

Angie didn't pick the right choice in that dress but she still was stunning and absolutely glowing, she is a true diva and a real star. Ellen Pompeo, this woman makes me melt every time I see her, she stuns me whatever she wears and does with her style, the white, as well as the lovely Teri Hatcher(Cavalli-$10,000), was just amazing on them both. Jennifer Garner, one of my favorites didn't look her best AT ALL, her dress just didn't fit and I don't understand how couldn'd she see that. Eva was perfect as always, as well as Nicollette, Penelope Cruz, Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore and Katherine Heigl.

The colors are fantastic, from white to light pink to black, it's amazing how color affects the figure. Like some who wore orange, the dress was great but the color ruined it, also there are some who wore green, strange colors of blue and some who showed up with plain dresses that weren't so impressive.

The leading stars of the night, Jennifer Hudson and America Ferrera, the first looked fine despite her weight and the color of her dress was nice, BuT, the second, I have to say that I am amused by people telling her how beautiful she is but the reality is that she doesn't have a single quality that makes her beautiful, she's far away from that, in fact she's not pretty and no wonder she plays the "ugly" character in her show, I didn't like her dress even its color, neither her body nor her height are perfect, she doesn't even have a good hairdo that night, I think I'm being harsh but I've gotta be honest, maybe her role in Ugly Betty demands such a figure but I get teased every time other people compliment her, they really don't have to.

Katherine Heigl looked the best to me along with Drew Barrymore them two really stood out to me. Beyonce I don't know it just annoyed me from some reason it did suite her body shape wonderfully but the dress was just a arrr...

I agree. Seemed very arrogant to me. Not that she was posing, but the way she was posing.

Because most (straight) men probably don't care as much as women. Who are they fooling? Everyone already knows it.

    --------------
I was surprised by everyone's reaction to Evangeline Lily's dress. I personally liked it. It was very 'modern artsy' i think, and that's something most people don't like. I know the colors were different, but at least it fit her. The other surprise was Sienna Miller's dress. I thought the braid was maybe her way of incorporating the vine around the head into her hairstyle. I though it went well with the style of her dress. It didn't look like Heidi at all.

My least favorite dress would have to be the one Cameron Diaz wore. I just don't really understand it. lol, that's all I have to say. The second least favorite would be Reese Witherspoon's. I'm not a fan of bright colors, and I just didn't particularly like the shortness of it. The Golden Globes is a ballgown night...it wasn't really a ball gown. Call it cliche, but that's what I think.

There were a lot of greecian dresses I noticed. The light-and-airy dresses that are wrapped around the bodice. I thought most of them looked very elegant. It seemed like there weren't that many bad dresses this year. Maybe the next award show

Milo Ventimiglia was by far the most sizzling guy there. He looked better than James Bond in his tux. I was shocked Tv.com didn't have a picture of him.

Actually the men I'm specifically referring to put forth effort to look like they care about how they look. Otherwise they wouldn't look the same. That slightly messed hair with 5 o'clock shadow look has become the standard. They get paid to wear all these designer tuxedoes, and jewelry, so why not try and look like a million bucks. I said it earlier that they try to look like Frank Sinatra after the concert or James Bond when he brings the Bond Girl back to the hotel without realizing that they had to look like Frank or James at the beginning of the night to get the girl in the first place.

They just look like weak imitations.

    My 3 Favorites: Guys:
    1) Milo Ventimiglia; he makes the whole room lighter everytime the camera hits him! HE was soo hott that day! Too bad no picture on tv.com
    2) Patrick Dempsey; even though he could basically my dad (almost) he still looked very hansome...
3)Leonardo DiCaprio; I have loved him ever since his Growing Pains days.... He stunned the red carpet and even though he didnt win i still love him

    My 3 Favorites : Ladies:
    1) Reese Witherspoon; everyone said her dress was too yellow but i loved it, her pin straight hair made it even more perfect.. she looked like a doll....i lover her but i still wish she was with ryan phillipe so that way she'd come to his hometown! (where i live!)
    2) Becki Newton; Many people dont know her... she's amanda from Ugly Betty... her dress was gorgeous and i loved it! the color suited her nice... she looked stunning head to toe....
    3) Drew Barrymore; I loved her dress and she looked beautiful in it... i didnt think she looked that bad at all... maybe her spray tan but other than that she looked gorgeous...

    My Least Favorites:
    1) Beyonce; Hmmmm not much more i could say about her... she looked soo bad and her dress was hideous.. for god's sake maybe that dress would be good at like a music award show but these are the Golden Globes were talking about... everyone watches these... its an honor to be there... a million actors would be dying to be there right now (Gilmore Girls??? why werent they nominated) she just trashed herself and her whole image.. i never liked her at all....
    2) Brad and Angelina (Brangelina); ughh they looked soo bad... they looked fake... i saw them in a wax museum and they looked exactly the same! all waxy and fake.... they need to crawl in a hole and die (the relationship) i guess what im trying to say is that im a Jen fan... Brad was a stupid person for letting her go...

    thats basically it...

ooo and for the person who said American Ferrera is ugly... YOU'RE SOO WRONG! YOU'RE SO STUPID HOW CAN YOU SAY SHE LOOKED UGLY! SHE LOOKED STUNNING! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S UGLY! HOW DARE YOU SAY AMMERICA IS UGLY!!! SHE WAS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE THERE!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE SO WRONG!

I think that I must be really ol'skool. Your reply hit the nail on the head. We all are quite aware of Beyonce's attributes, so why do the folks who dress her have to put all her stuff on display all the time. It gets kinda old after a time. I'm sure she would be just as lovely with al lil less skin etc, stuck out for all to see. What ever happened to our values of wondering whats under that dress??? Guess we'll never have to guess anymore, it's all stuck out for all to see wether we want to or not. Being dressed like your goin outto the red lite district, must be the new thang. Glad I'm ol'skool..  ...
