I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this episode. I thought the show would be terrible, but it was actually funny and entertaining. I have never heard of any of the contestants, but oh well; they're entertaining. I like the beginning dynamics and I love how everyone's getting to know each other. I also thought it was funny how Dee came in and said that he hated country strait to JR. I love JR and and I think he's a great host. He really seemed personal and kind...not to mention he's cute. Anyways, it was a good start to the show and I can't wait to see more.moreless

  • Out of everyone that is brought on this show, I only recognized two people Sisqo, and Maureen. I do not know them from any of their music but rather movies they were in.moreless

The only person I know on this show is John Rich! He is the reason I am watching this show, no other reason than him.

I am a home grown country gal, I listen to all types of music, but country is what I am, what I do on a day to day basis. Dee Snider made the comment about country singers singing about "my dog died, my wife left me" and etc. what else is there. Musicians, all musicians no matter the genre sing about what they know-about their life! The only difference between genres is the beat.

Everyone was saying how impressed they were with JR talking to them on a personal level and I did too. JR really went out of his way knowing people and learning about the ones he did not know so well.

I was not surprised that people in Nashville did believe the cast were Going Country. I have never listened to anything by these people, but I would really like to see what the ladies have to offer. Country people are hard to please; we are stuck in our ways.moreless

  • This is a group of people from the music industry put together to make some country music that aren't from the genre. If you don't mind Country, then you might want to see this.moreless

I was hooked seeing the introduction flashing Dee Snider from Twisted Sister. The Hip Hop of Bobby Brown and Sisqo definitely turned my head as well. Dee works well in a group, but comes right out and answers John Rich saying he doesn't like Country. I agreed with Rich on wondering if Snider was dumb. We find out the Bobby is fitting his reputation. I am not sure this will make it after a couple of episodes, but I love Reality tv, so maybe a lot of others will too. The "cabin" is awesome! Rich coming in on a helicopter was way cool as well.moreless
