A terrific, off-beat little series. But then I'm biased. I was Story Editor and writer of many of the episodes. The aim was heightened reality - a world that could be funny, dangerous, even a little crazy, but with one foot always in reality. There could have been more than two series. There should have been. Unfortunately, produced in Australia, which has a small viewing audience, hence limited returns in terms of sales, it needed revenue from overseas sales in order to continue. Unfortunately again, the series couldn't be pigeon-holed by the marketing bods. It was neither straight drama nor straight comedy. Thus its overseas sales were limited, hence production stopped. Shame.moreless
