Good Job, Good Job is about the life of a Korean mother who was left by her boyfriend. The mother, Lee Kang Joo (Chae Rim), got pregnant and Yoo Ho Nam (Kim Seung Soo), her boyfriend, left to study abroad not aware that his girlfriend was expecting a baby. Ho Nam eventually returns to Korea to reconnect with Kang Joo. Kang Joo is less willing to go with him and start their relationship again, so she tries to hide their daughter, Lee Byul (Jun Min Seo) from him. At the same time, Kang Joo's mentor and boss, Choi Seung Hun (Uhm Ki Joon) is showing interest in her for a while, but finds a roadblock when Ho Nam comes back to Korea.
