While the rest of the family eagerly awaits Charlie's first steps, Amy tries to convince Teddy to fill her old shoes as the school's mascot. I thought that this was an excellent episode of "Good Luck Charlie". Man, for a show that barely got to its fourth episode, it's hilarious and it was a strong entertainment for everyone to enjoy. I loved the storyline and a lot of parts in this episode made me laugh so hard. First of all, that quote I put as the introduction of my review made me laugh very hard. It was at the scene with those North High guys kidnapped Whammy (Amy being inside the suit) and then that North High said "Dude... Whammy is old" and then that's when Amy responds "Whammy is not old, Whammy had 4 kids". It was also hilarious when Amy said "I sneeze when I pee". The baby race in the Gabe/PJ/Emmett plot was also hilarious and fun to watch... Charlie winning the baby race was also very cute and funny as well. PJ being scared that he going to be bald like Bob is funny also. It was also very funny when Teddy and Amy got inside their Whammy suits and wrestled that viking mascot from North High. The closing bit with PJ having a dream that he is Bob and that he is bald was funny as well. Overall, an excellent episode of "Good Luck Charlie" that was very strong for a fourth episode of the series which I'm not surprised since this show had me loving it since the pilot episode. 10/10moreless
  • Another perfect episode

While the rest of the family eagerly awaits Charlie's first steps, Amy tries to convince Teddy to fill her old shoes as the school's mascot. It was a perfect episode of Good Luck Charlie. Both plots were perfect and it was interesting that Charlie took her first steps. The parts that I liked/found to be funny on the main plot were Amy teaching Teddy to be a mascot, Amy watching her old video Teddy trying to wave the flag while Ivy is the only one as the crowd, the boys capturing Amy (which was kinda random to me), Teddy and Amy fighting the Vikings (rival). As for the sub plot with PJ/Gabe/Charlie/Emmett I liked that Gabe and PJ trained Charlie, the race between Charlie and Emmett's brother and that Charlie already walked. Also, it was hilarious that PJ could end like his dad who stopped growing hair. Overall, it was a perfect episode of Good Luck Charlie. 10/10moreless

Amy convinces Teddy to audition to be the school's unlucky ram mascot Whammy, due to Amy being Whammy when she was Teddy's age. So Teddy tries to throw the audition and ends up becoming the new Whammy. It turns out she was the only one who tried out, so Teddy becomes the Whammy. Her mom is excited, but when Teddy reveals she never wanted to be Whammy in a huge outburst, Amy is dismayed and decides to fill in for Teddy at the game, but when rival school North High kidnaps Amy, thinking she was Teddy, she attacks them and goes back to the game, where Teddy is being attacked by North High's Viking mascot. Amy attacks the viking and she and Teddy take down the viking. Meanwhile, PJ worries that he is going to bald like Bob; later, he challenges Emmett to a baby race with his nephew against Charlie. Charlie wins the race and in this episode Charlie walks for the first time.

I thought this was a perfect episode! I laughed really hard when Amy started dancing funny while teaching Teddy how to dance the Whammy signature moves. I laughed hard when Teddy and Ivy realized they were the only ones there. I thought it was funny when Amy got sad and put the Whammy head on and sighed. I thought it was funny when the rival school North High kidnaps Amy, which is something you wouldn't see on ANY Disney show. I thought it was funny when both Amy and Teddy attack the viking. I LOVED PJ/Emmet/Gabe/Charlie's plot. It was cool when Charlie made her first steps.

    Overall a perfect episode!moreless
  • Very good episode.

This episode can be pretty satisfied. Wammy is ok and this just best episode. It really ok but this episode is great and pretty original. I really enjoy this episode but mascot in the gym is doesn't really interests me. Charlie went to baby race with Gabe and P.J. for what? I don't what they are doing something in baby race. That can be pretty weird idea what they are doing something in baby race for nothing. You need to work a lot more hard work just like Wizards of Waverly Place and you work a lot more hard work in Wizards of Waverly Place.

So, I gave you a grade for this episode is:

  • This is Probably Overall my New Favorite Disney Show

Basically, Amy wants Teddy to be "Whammy" the school's mascot. But Teddy does not want to. In the end she ends up doing it and she actually likes it (and it is hinted that Charlie might be Whammy when she is in high school).

A good episode, I really think this could be Disney's hottest show in a while. I really liked this episode, I thought it was clever and I thought it was handled really well. My overall grade is an A+, of course. Just an all-around good episode, I thought anyways. Just the perfect episode for the perfect new showmoreless

    • Greek Mythology

Note when Teddy is wearing the ram head while training with her mother she is standing on a carpet with a maze pattern. This is an allusion to the Greek legend of the Minotaur in the labyrinth. This plays directly into the theme of the episode.
