  • This episode of Good Luck Charlie to me was only fair.

    6.5
This show is literally the best show on disney but this episode was only fair to me for several reasons. First of all they really didnt go to Hawaii and the practilly copied the Brady Bunch with something like the tiki that gave Amy and the Duncans bad luck. Sadly this episode was not the greatest;-(
  • Boring, although there were some funny parts.

    5.0
For their 20th wedding anniversary, Bob takes the whole family on a trip to Hawaii. After wandering onto sacred ground, Amy gets her whole family cursed, but refuses to believe it, until she is trapped in an elevator with an overweight claustrophobic woman. If that isn't enough, Teddy gets knocked out during her surfing lesson, PJ and Gabe almost get killed during an aerial tour, Bob gets knocked out with a golf ball and Charlie goes missing. Meanwhile, Bob avoids a six-hour long time-share seminar and must attend the next one or else he will have to pay for the whole trip.

Amy's Plot: I think her "cursed" plot was funny! I loved the part where she gets stuck in the elevator with a lady with a huge fear of elevators. I loved it when the lady says "You lied to me!".

Teddy's Plot: If these vacation episodes are going to involve Teddy looking for love all the time, I will always hate the 2-part episodes. Teddy! You're in Hawaii for crying out loud! And then you get a crush? If you got together with that Kai guy, you couldn't even stay together since you're from Colorado and he's in Hawaii. The only thing I liked about this plot is when the lady came to the surfing lesson and knew that Teddy wanted to be alone with Kai.

PJ/Gabe's Plot: I thought this plot was boring. Not much to say about it.

Overall a boring episode, this 2-parter is not exciting.moreless

What I liked: the man cursing Amy and her family, the woman hugging Amy tightly in the elevator, the golf ball hitting Bob, Charlie running off with those other kids to end the episode, Teddy's dream about her being a great surfer, amongst other things.

Good episode. A lot of shows have done Hawaii episodes before but this was pretty unique. It had a good cliffhanger to make me excited for part two, and had some really funny scenes. A+ as my final grademoreless
  • The Duncan family go on a family vacation to Hawaii (Part 1 of the 2-part episode "Sun Show")

    9.0
I thought that this was a superb episode of "Good Luck Charlie". I would've given it a 10 but I didn't find Teddy's plot to be that enjoyable so the score is a little low because of Teddy's plot. The Duncan family going on a family vacation to Hawaii was an excellent idea. It was very funny when that man cursed Amy and then Amy was starting to get the man angry so he cursed the whole family. PJ and Gabe going on a helicopter and almost falling down was funny. Gabe talking to God and telling him that if he stops the helicopter from falling down then he will do nice things and I thought that it was good but Gabe should try to be good more often instead of making a deal with God and all that. Amy and that women being stuck in the elevator and that woman being claustrophobic and holding Amy was absolutely hilarious. Bob being hit by a golf ball was funny. The scene with the Duncan family sleeping was absolutely hilarious especially when Bob rolled over the bed and Gabe fell off the bed. I'm can't wait to see what chaos happens in Part 2. Overall, Part 1 of this 2-part episode "Sun Show" was well done and very funny despite Teddy's plot. 9/10moreless
