  • Nothing like the old ABC episodes, Commercialisation !!! But within a few episodes, watch out TEN.

You gotta luv Paul 'n Mikey being back on air together again, it's been a while since they were together for the brekkie show on Trile J.

Remembering back to the days of The Big Gig, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_Gig) when Paul McDermott was with the DAAS (Doug Anthony AllStars) Kapital, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DAAS_Kapital), they were great buskers down at the Malls Balls (Rundle Mall) for the Adelaide Fringe in 1986, and lived on from then.

Last year Paul did The Sideshow (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sideshow) on the ABC with Claire Hooper, which was a great show, see how many great Australian comedy programs are still being produced by the GNW Company on the Auntie or Commercial TV Stations.

Lets see if TEN will bring on the some of the greats like Flacco, Sandman, The Umbilical Brothers, TriPod, Scared Weird Little Guys, there's so many ...moreless
  • I think my favourite part was when Frank Woodley tried to describe heroin by acting like a horse and smacking his arse - classic!

A good start to the season, lots of cool mini-segments that catered to the saterical humour that the show is known for. They started with the usual intro by the host, Paul McDermott, then of course introduced the guests. It was a nice surprise to see guest star Jensen Ackles on the show (only because I'm a fan of his show). Some of the segments included 'So you think you can mime' and a segment that had short bites where the guests had to figure out what was happening in the news. I think my favourite part was when Frank Woodley tried to describe heroin by acting like a horse and smacking his arse - classic! Although I have nothing to compare it to, it was a top-notch episode.moreless
