  • Quotes

    • Florida: I don't get it, it's brand new.
James: Ah baby that don't mean anything anymore. You know they used to build things to last a lifetime, then they started building them to last until you made the final payment. Now they make them to last until you get them through the door.

    • Florida: Cleatus, I just don't understand.  You were always such a good boy.  What happened?

: Do you know what it's like out there, Aunt Florida?  Scratchin' and scrowngin' for every little penny?  I mean, what do you have to do if you're poor today?

: Hell if I know, Cleatus, see we're so rich we don't know.  We're too busy living in this fancy penthouse apartment on Lakeshore drive and all we do all day long is eat caviar and count our stocks and bonds. (smacks Cleatus in the back of the head) What the hell would we know about being poor!?

    • Michael: Sir, can I just ask one question?
      Monroe: Sure.
Michael: Who is looking for the guy that shot Meadgar Evers?

    • Michael: Instead of going around asking questions about Cleatus, why don't you find the guy that shot Medgar Evers!

    • J.J.: C-I-A, F-B-I, I'm being alphabetic to death here. if I hear one more letter, I'm gonna run away from home.
Thelma: A-B-C-D-E-F-G. And close the door on your way out!
