  • The Evans family meets the parents of the girl Michael intends to move in with.

    2.0
The plot line was strong enough: Faced with an over-crowded apartment, and at the age where independence is coveted, Michael announces he's getting his own place to live. Then came the revelation that he intended to move in with a girl - a white girl.

The episode's stong moments came as Florida attempted to dissuade him from moving. She wasn't the least bit swayed by Michael's pledge to sleep on the couch.

The second half of the show was a farcical attempt at white liberals attempting to pretend to emphatize with the black community. Keith finally put an end to the charade with a high-syntax line indicating he had had enough.moreless
