An elderly widow feels she's an imposition living with her son and daughter-in-law in their Houston, Texas home. She dreams of returning to Bountiful where she grew up, convinced that it will renew her spirit. Mrs. Watts returns there on her own and discovers that all of her old friends have moved or died and her old mansion is now in shambles.
