"How To" Narrator: How to Be a Reporter Ah…the journalist, the winner of the finest practitioners of the mostly luxurious craft, not even a certified hack could pull a six-figure income. (PJ: "Uh…we still don't know how to start.") [Chapter 1] The reporter finds a subject upon which to report. (Chainsaw walked past Max and PJ. Max: "Bingo!" Chainsaw dug a hole and bury a bone while Max and PJ sneaked behind a tree). The alert reporter notes his subject's every move, missing no detail. (Max: "3:15pm, an awesome dog was seen in a hole that was uh…that was uh…awesome?" PJ (buried in soil): "Works for me.") [Chapter 2] Journalists' indispensable responsibility: don't get caught. (Max and PJ sneaked behind objects avoiding Chainsaw's attention. Chainsaw saw a postman and sneaked behind a bush. When the postman walked past the mailbox after putting the mail in, Chainsaw chased the mailman. Max: "The awesome beast chased the mailman, and it was…it was uh…uh how would you describe it, Peej?" PJ: "Um…awesome?" Max: "Awesome!") [Chapter 3: Grammar spelling and style] I be for it, except that to see. Next chapter: (Max: "The dog removed a portion of the mailman's pants that was…that was uh…uh…what's a word for awesome?" PJ: "How 'bout awesome?" Max: "Naw, naw, naw, something bigger. I know, very awesome!")
Pete made a scream that the whole world could hear after he saw a phoney story of him on TV. This trait was shared with Darkwing Duck, who made a similar scream when he realised that he had six hands due to a mutation. Both characters were voiced by Jim Cummings.
This is the first time that Max and PJ were taught by the "How to" Narrator.
All the Goof That's Fit to Print: The episode title is a play on the saying All That's Fit to Print.
