    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • Mopalong and Max shared the same dislike on wearing spectacles/glasses.

(Max: Only Geeks and Nerds wear glasses!)

(Mopalong: Only Tinhorns and Carpetbaggers wear glasses!)

    • QUOTES (1)

      • "How to" Narrator:

        How to be a Sheriff

(Mopalong: "That's me!") Ah…the sheriff, bastion of law and order in the early west. The sheriff relies on rapid reflexes and keen eyesight. Therefore, if you're having trouble reading this, you probably need glasses! (Mopalong: "Gawrsh…Now where did I put that card? (Found Isadore's card) Found it, A-hyuck!")

(Mopalong went to the optometrist and got his glasses)

Chapter 2: Roping the rustler. Holding the lasso or lariat firmly on one hand, the sheriff waves his arm in a circular motion. Faster and faster he twirls, his strong arm of the law flying high-low in front of justice, never tiring, ever vigilant, (Mopalong swung the lasso too hard until he flew in the air) His steely eyes searching the horizon for the ever-present rustler. (Mopalong: Whoaah!) Only the low rustlers are sighted does the sheriff knows that it is safe to stop. I said stop! (Mopalong stopped swing the lasso, causing him to fall down into the town)

Chapter 6: Saddling up a horse. (Mopalong carried a saddle like a heavy object) The Western saddle, a marvellous invention of finely-tuned leather, perfectly balanced, as light as a feather (Mopalong slipped the book and saddle out of his hand after he tangled the two spurs on his boots), melding rider and horse into one sheen with the finely-tuned reflexes of a bobcat (Mopalong fell into the horse's manger). (Mopalong: A-hyuck!) Even a bobcat needs a bath once in a while.
