It's Billy's first day and first time at summer camp, and so far, Camp Nightmoon appears to be a perfectly normal camp. • Pretty Good

This episode was pretty good. We learn that theres a strange animal on the loose named Saber. We also meet the main character Billy. It was pretty cool and suspenseful how all the kids mysteriously started disappearing and that Uncle Al is hiding something behind that jolly grin of his. I did think that all the accidents were kind of silly and that they could have came up with some better stuff and that the whole thing with the cliff hanger wasn't that exciting. I think that this episode would have been a lot better if we saw more of Saber and the cliff hanger wasn't that excitingmoreless
  • Out of the top 3 perfect episodes, this is number 1.

Man, I was dying to see this one. It was the first one I watched when I got my entire set. It was amazing! I loved the beginning with the Sabre part. "Hey, keep cool you guys," said Billy. He just had the perfect lines. I liked Roger and his little crack up jokes. Jay, he was pretty cool. "Quit, being such a baby." Ha ha. Colin, I liked. The whole bandana and dark sunglasses showed he was a down deep guy. After Unlce Al said no sneaking out of yours bunks, Colin said, "Who would do such a thing?" Excellent, just excellent!moreless
  • Only Goosebumps can pull off this episode's ending.

The protagonist, Billy, is off to his first summer camp. What seemed like a normal camp starts to become more sinister. The camp director is a little weird, Billy's fellow campers vanish, and the counselors don't seem to notice. Just as Billy is about to turn the tables and defeat the counselors, he learns that the camp was a "training facility" where he was taking tests so that he can join his parents on a journey to Earth. This is one of the few episode's with a comforting, but disturbing, ending. Disturbing, that the story takes actually place in a alternate version of Earth, but heartwarming that it was all a test, and everyone enjoyed themselves.moreless
