I can imagine a lot of fans being disappointed with this episode as the comeback, but I could be wrong, considering how overrated this show is sometimes. Anyways, Jenny was at least tolerable before, but in this episode, she just tempted me to stop watching from time to time.

Jenny is incredibly annoying, and the fact that she is the new "queen bee" and is now the "star" of the show just annoys me. Her attitude is hideous, and you can't help but feel bad for Dan & Rufus who are basically spelling it out for her: She can do better!

Don't get me wrong, we got some classic Gossip Girl moments that made this epsiode what it was. The banter between Blair & Jenny was fun to watch. Also we got a great tie in/cliffhanger with Chuck supposedly sending Serena unsettling gifts, can't wait to see what happens next (but seriously, the Jenny scenes need to be cut down).moreless
  • A little bit of a blank canvas... I expected more after the long wait.

    9.5
I hate Jenny, she was so mean to poor Blair I did feel sorry for Jenny though. She tried so hard to be friends with them and then she had to steal Hazel's Mother's dress.

The packages that Serena were sent were so funny. She was so mean to Chuck, Eric actually thought he was a brother to him and Serena had to ruin it.

When jenny dropped the yougurt on Blair's head I was mad at Jenny, sad for Blair and lauging my head off.

It was a very good episode but they should of given us more since we've been waiting for so long.moreless
  • In this episode Jenny started to turn more and more into Blair.

    7.3
In this episode Jenny started to turn more and more into Blair. She wanted to fit in so badly that she even started stealing. But the wicked Blair made a return and she got back at Jenny at her birthday.

But as they say, revenge is a plate best served hot. And Jenny cunningly used Nate to get back at Blair and also to get back into the group, something which seems to have succeeded at.

Meanwhile Serena has been receiving some disturbing gifts and she thought they were from Chuck. Chuck was even kicked out of their home by his father. But then it was revealed that someone from Serena's past G was sending her those disturbing gifts.moreless
  • Wake up little J, the B*tch is back! Or is she?

    9.3
I thought this was the end of Jenny Humphrey. Too bad it wasn't. She was getting too full of herself. Especially the last scene of her and the girls and Nate at Butter. I wanted to kick my TV. The whole Jenny stealing the Valentino was hilarious, and the way she was caught. Too bad, all it took was one Nate Archibald for her to return to the "spotlight" again. I hate Jenny. Serena however was really judgmental. Of course if I were her, I would've also thought that Chuck was the one who sent those things. I'm definitely not excited on Bart and Lily's upcoming marriage. But I love the idea of the van der Bass family.moreless
  • Gossip Girl returns

    9.0
This was a good return after the hiatus caused by the writers strike. I thought the real strenght in this episode came from Jenny who got more screen time than she normally does. You can feel her spiraling downwards since the beginning of the episode and you just keep waiting for her to get caught and when she does it is in a really big way. She was really good in this episode and I think it shows just how far she is willing to go. I also love how she uses Nate at the end to get what she wants, it shows how she is a real player against Blair who is currently in banishment (hopefully not for long).

On the opposite side I loved Eric and Chuck bonding in this episode and I felt so bad for Chuck when he is kicked out for something that is entirely Serena's fault. A good episode.moreless

    • Rufus: Hey, whenever you are done with that "I'd do things differently" look, two things. One, I can't seem to nail Jenny down on what she wants to do for her actual birthday.
Dan: I'll get it out of her.
Rufus: Good. And two, what the hell are you still doing here?
Dan: (looks at the clock) Mm! Thank you!

    • (When the girls find out Jenny stole Hazel's mom's dress)
Blair: Excuse me, this seems private, so I'm gonna head out now. I have a table at Butter, reservation's under 'Waldorf' in case there's an after-party.

    • Serena: Can you just get it over with Chuck? Say whatever pervy thing you're going say and leave.

    • (Blair stops walking)
Serena: B., what are you doing?
Blair: Giving home schooling some serious consideration.

    • (At Jenny's party)
      Penelope: What's Blair doing here?
Elise: I don't know, but this party's kind of weird.
Hazel: Weird? It's time for it's induction into the hall of lame.

    • Serena: So do you think Jenny'll be all right?
Nate: Yeah, Dan's a good guy, he'll take care of her.
Serena: You are too, you know, a good guy. A forgiving guy?
Who can't pit himself against Blair forever.
      Nate: Goodnight.
Serena: I'm sorry! You gave me an opening I couldn't resist. I'm just saying.

    • Gossip Girl: As any good general knows, you never let your soldiers see you sweat. Looks like this battle's ending at Butter, and the win goes to B. Victory is sweet.

    • Hostess: There's a line outside, you ready to give up your table yet?
Blair: No, my party's coming. (hostess looks at Blair's empty table) They're coming!

    • Serena: Oh, okay, lets get one thing straight. Our parents might be insisting on blending our households, but I am not your sister. I do not share any of your D.N.A. nor do I ever wish to.
Chuck: Then I suggest you get new hand towels.

    • Hazel: (at Jenny's party) How long do we have to stay?
      Blair: Rice Krispie treats?

    • Serena: (after the champagne at school incident) You're right, Mom. This morning I woke up feeling a little uneasy and thought to myself "Hmm, maybe I'll call the entire junior class out to the courtyard for a little champagne toast".

    • Gossip Girl: One may be the loneliest number...but sometimes only the lonely can play. Wake up little Jenny. The biatch is back.

    • Blair: How do you manage to get out of everything unscathed?
Serena: Because I'm nice. You should try it. Come on, compliment me, tell me my hair looks beautiful.
Blair: But your hair looks disgusting. Did you even shower today?

    • Gossip Girl: The French Revolution had cake, the American Revolution had tea, but looks like the overthrow of Blair Waldorf, well... (a scoop of yogurt falls on Blair's head) Who said you need a silver spoon to dole out just desserts?

    • Serena: What are you doing?
Eric: I'm hiding from my vallet. He wanted to put my socks on for me this morning. (to Chuck) Your servants are very attentive.
Chuck: You should meet Bergita the maid.
Serena: No! No he should not meet Bergita, he's 14, ignore this person.
Chuck: May I remind you Serena that you used to have a sense of humor.

    • Blair: What's happening?
Dorota: You have bad dream and you're sleeping with your chocolate.
Blair: (pulls the chocolate closer to her) Oh, Lady Godiva my only friend.

    • Gossip Girl: Wakey wakey Upper East siders, Spring Break is done and I'm starved for the dish. Were you sunning in Capri or singing in Croatia, give me the deeds.

    • Lily: (to Serena) Don't leave your dirty package on the table.
Chuck: If I had a dime for every time I heard that... (Eric laughs)
      Bart: That's enough Chuck.

  • ALLUSIONS (4)

    • Gossip Girl: Wake up little Jenny! The biatch is back.

This is a reference to the Elton John song The B**** is Back. On an interesting side note, Kristen Bell (Gossip Girl) starred in the former CW series, Veronica Mars. The series finale of that show was titled, "The Biatch is Back."

    • Blair's Dream Sequence:

The episode's opening sequence where Blair is dressed in a coat and looking for a cat in the rain is a recreation of the final scene of the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany's, starring Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard. This film is also known to be Blair's favorite movie.

    • Klaus and Sunny von Bulow:

Chuck refers to his future step-mother, Lily van der Woodsen, as "Lily von Bulow." This is an allusion to the infamous real-life story of Klaus von Bulow, a British socialite accused of the attempted murder of his wife, Sunny von Bulow in 1980. The real-life story was later adapted into the novel, Reversal of Fortune: Inside the von Bülow case

    • Episode Title: The Blair Biatch Project

This is from the 1999 fictional movie The Blair Witch Project of three film students travel to Maryland to make a student film about a local urban legend... The Blair Witch. The three went into the woods on a two day hike to find the Blair Witch, and never came back. One year later, the students' film and video were found in the woods. The footage was compiled and made into a movie.
