This episode had all the things we love about Gossip Girl. It centered around the wedding of Dorota and Vania which, for those of us who've watched Gossip Girl since its start, feels kind of like the wedding of two old friends. We've seen them get to know each other and get engaged and this episode was nice because it brought that plot full circle. As much as I love Chuck and Blair they had to have some problems eventually, on a show like this and I think the show did this well pointing out the weakest point in their relationship and breaking them along this line. I liked how around the break-up this episode showcased the Non-Judging Breakfast Club friendship as well as a lot of the rarer relationships seen on Gossip Girl- Dan & Blair, and Dorota & Blair were two that stand out. The large roles of Cyrus and Evelyn were also interesting to see. Highly recommend this episode- although many probably hate that it contained the death (for a while at least) of Chair, Chair's probably not permanently dead and this episode showcased some of the things GG does best.moreless
The episode was pretty good. i didn't see last week's episode so i was pretty shocked when i found out that blair slept with uncle "crap"...i cant belive chuck would let her do that and throughout the episode i felt really bad for blair because she seemed so hurt. Now to jenny. this little deceiving b**ch. I cant belive she would try to steal nate and then lying to both him and serena made me really angry. How could you betray your own sister. im really starting not to like her anymore. what happended to sweet jenny and isnt nate like 19 and im pretty sure she's still jailbait. Anyways overall it was a good episode. Cant wait for next week's.moreless

Blair: I would do anything for you,
Chuck. But what if that's wrong? I never thought it was possible to love someone too much, but maybe it is. I don't like who I've become with you.
Chuck: Wait. Blair. Don't bail on me. We have to see this through to the end.
Blair: This is the end, Chuck.
Edit
Gossip Girl: Total eclipse of the heart. XOXO, Gossip Girl
Edit
Blair: Everything you said last night was true. We do belong together. We're both sick and twisted. If you think about it, we're incredibly fortunate to have even found each other.
Chuck: Blair, I don't want this to be you settling some sort of consolation.
Blair: We've both hit rock bottom, Chuck, but we've hit it together. At least we won't be lonely in hell.

The title refers to the 1984 novel The Unbearable Lightness of Being, that in 1988 was adapted to the movie, directed by Philip Kaufman about a Czech doctor with a very active sex life that meets a woman who wants monogamy, and then the Soviet invasion further disrupts their lives.
