There you go! Gossip Girl, I knew you had it in you. Gossip Girl really delivered tonight with the best episode of the season. Everyone interactions were fantastic and it seemed like this is where everything really came to a boil in this episode.

Now, I never usually buy the whole character transformations in a day like they did here, but I'm just happy to have the scheming Georgina back. Really interested in seeing how everything will play out in the final episodes.

What with Georgina going all out against Poppy, and Serena in prison. The Blair/Nate/Chuck triangle really is getting tired but the scene in the restaurant really was heartbreaking. We got a lot of great back and forths between Leighton Meester and Michelle Trachtenberg as well.

Everyone's reaction to Georgina's return was absolutely hilarious. Also, for once, I actually did find the Rufus & Lilly scenes entertaining. And the Jenny scenes were kept at an acceptable level. Great episode of Gossip Girl here. If only this show could deliver installments like this on a weekly basis, that would be great.moreless

The Upper East Side has me troubled. Does anyone know what he wants? Is anyone genuine at all? The only one constant in his feelings, even though completely incapable of expressing them is the one everyone didn't expect! Chuck. He has loved Blair since last season and well, he still loves her. Blair will be with Nate even though she loves Chuck, Nate was happy with Vanessa but suddenly now remembers he loves Blair, Serena is convinced that her blonde hair and pretty smile will make a con artist give up his earnings... I mean, people, please! Be true! Argh...moreless

I can't even begin to explian how much i loved this episode. Words cannot describe, but i will try. First off Blair and Chuck. OMG. I am more in love with them then ever before. I was actually caught myself liking Blair and Nate together because of their cute factor. However I will not be making that mistake again. Chuck admitting to Serena that he loved Blair and that's why he let her go was the highlight of the episode for me. Also i loved the end when Nate, Blair and Chuck were trying to get Serena out of jail. Chuck on the phone with his PI and Nate on the phone informing whoever that he is the grandson of (unknown first name) Vanderbilt and Balir yelling at the cop. Priceless. Holy Georgina kills me. Although I am glad that "the b*tch is back" as she put it. I am upset about Lily and Rufus fighting. I really want these two to be together. Something about two people who have always loved each other and find their way back to one another always gets me. Rufus asking Eric for permission to ask Lily to marry him was so sweet. Amazing episode.moreless
  • at least there is one show at the cw that's upholding standards.

i think my favourite part about this episode was when jenny was trying to distract lilly by telling her about "twilight" it took me a moment to put what she was saying together, but it was a fun referance.

serena, blair nate and chuck: this whole dealing with teir problems on their own had backfired before, why would they do it again??

love that georgina came back, actually think it would be fun to have michelle back as a regualr(but seeing as she's starring in "mercy" next year, it might not happen)

nate and chuck: these two need to give it up. nate is nothing but a big mansl** and chucks games are so not amusing anymore.moreless
  • The bicht is back. Chuck is growing up. Nate is a jerk. Lily is crazy, Serena is confused, Gabriel is disgusting, wait: All of this is actually kind of confusing!

So, Georgina is back, and she is ready to rock, though she does not know it yet. Serena is hungry for revenge and wants to get all the money back from Gabriel, put she needs help to pull it of. She calls Blair & Chuck, the dynamic duo, but Nate refuses to let Blair go on her own. All of them plot against Gabriel when Georgina enters. Turns out she wants forgiveness. Serena fakes a pregnancy to get Gabriel to meet her. He acts like he loves her, and when she says she knows all about the money, he says that the feelings he had for her were real. Yeah right! Gabriel is a cold fish. However, he reveals that Poppy Lifton is the girl with all the money. Blair manages to blackmail Georgina into helping them with taking Poppy down. However, Lily finds out about the money and decides for an "adult thing to do". Chuck and Blair have the most wonderful scene ever, though it would be better if he could have told Blair he loved her, and to just told Serena that he loves Blair. Can't wait for them to get back together!

However (back to what happened and not what should happen), Georgina almost had Poppy covered when Lily decided to get Serena arrested. Which ended with a very cool scene where Blair, Nate and Chuck all work as hell to get Serena out of prison, and Serena getting her mugshots taken.moreless

    • Blair: (to Nate) Well, perhaps the more suitable step would be for you to ask me to prom. (They laugh.)

    • Georgina: Look, Blair, everyone else has forgiven me. I'm just waiting on you Blair: Everyone who? And besides, some things are unforgivable Georgina: God will help me find a way to earn your forgiveness. (Chuck comes out.) Blair: Oh, looks like He answers mine first faster than yours.

    • (after Chuck lets Blair go) Serena: Chuck, why did you just do that? Chuck: Because I love her. And I can't make her happy.

    • Blair: Unfortunately for him, the only way your plan is going to work is by some act of God. (Georgina enters through the door as heavenly music starts) Georgina: Wow, look at that. I'm so glad that everybody's here. (after a beat, everyone talks at the same time) Dan: Alright, we need to get this crazy girl out of here. Serena: Chuck, what is she doing here? Blair: Are you trying to have me killed?! Bass?! Chuck: She's fine! Nate: Shh! Shut up! Blair: Oh, my God. I am going to scream at somebody right now. Chuck: Calm down. She has been fine the whole cab ride home. Serena: Is this how you found out about the night at Butter? You bring Georgina here?! Georgina: (answers the phone) Hey, does anyone know a guy named Gabriel?

    • Georgina: I just want to apologize. One of the most sacred acts is the ritual of forgiveness. Chuck: Why is it when you say ritual, I think human sacrifice?

    • Serena: I keep trying to figure out what was real and what wasn't. It doesn't make any sense. Blair: Feelings never do. They get you all confused...then they drive you around for hours until they drop you right back to where you started.

    • Serena: I'm so glad you came, B. Thank you so much for...for bringing Nate? Blair: I'm just as flummoxed as you are. I got out at 53rd and made a run for it, but he's faster than he looks.

    • Gossip Girl: Four wise men once said, "I get by with a little help from my friends." But in the Upper East Side, there's the added challenge of figuring out who those friends really are.

    • Georgina: (after Chuck offers her a flask) No, thank you. The Lord cannot enter a body sullied by alcohol. Chuck: Good. Because I like to be the one doing the entering. To each their own holy water.

    • Blair: I don't think Jesus would approve of that. Georgina: Well, you can tell Jesus that the bitch is back.

    • Georgina: I gave up my old ways when I let Jesus take the wheel. Blair: That is a Carrie Underwood song!
