The days of Ryan Atwood's signature white tank top and choker are long over, and the uniform he wore as police officer Ben Sherman on TNT's Southland is forever lost to the great TV dry cleaner in the sky, but Ben McKenzie still looks pretty damn good in his first photo as Detective James "Jim" Gordon, star of Fox's upcoming Batman-adjacent series Gotham. The show will focus on Gordon's path toward becoming the man who works alongside Batman to save Gotham City. But when the story begins, Gordon is just a detective who's partnered with Donal Logue's Detective Harvey Bullock, and the only Bruce Wayne in site is played by 13-year-old David Mazouz. So if you're looking for the Caped Crusader, keep moving. But if you're looking for a glimpse of McKenzie in his new role, well, I've got that for you right here!
Guys, I could ogle McKenzie's face all day. It's a good face! And the more I look at it, the more I'm convinced I might actually need to watch Gotham.
Whaddaya think? Will McKenzie make a good Gordon?
