As Mike continues to work his way up into Bello's organization, Briggs and Charlie work together on an undercover job that sparks some old feelings between the pair and ends disastrously with the death of Charlie's CI and her risky choice to not let it all be in vain.

We also get Mike continuing to date Abby, something which gives Tuturro and Paige no end of fun while offering their couch quarterback philosophy (while also making side bets on Briggs and Charlie hooking up again).

By the end of the episode Mike has successfully cultivated his relationship with Bello and used a mutual knowledge and appreciation for westerns and Charlie is left with the repurcussions of choosing to shoot up in front of the paranoid middle man or walk away from their only chance of meeting the mysterious new heroin supplier.

Overall a solid episode more memorable for its small moments (Charlie and Briggs teasing Tuturro the next morning over what he overhead / Paige and Tuturro having some fun at Mike's expense) the the slower developing stories which leave one dead and Mike in a precarious new position.

So Mikey wins the confidence of Bello and gains his trust to be his bodyguard, and then Badillo is still wanting more information from Mikey about Briggs. So Badillo gives Mikey all the information he has on Briggs and according to Badillo its has to to with drugs, more so with heroine and with Briggs it seems with all the drugs busts he has made alot less comes in. Badillo thinks that Briggs is keeping the heroine and reselling it which is why Briggs has alot more money than he should (I Dont Know Whether That Briggs Is On The Take, But I Agree With Mikey That He Does Hold The Team Together). So Charlie and Briggs go undercover to take down a drug boss by the name of Quinn while they are there, Whistler happens to turn up and Charlie thinks her cover is blown, but so far its hasn't it. Charlie catches up with Whistler and of course he is still using, so Charlie approaches Whistler to help out on the Quinn case (Bad Idea). So Whistler sets up the meet (High As a Kite Mind You) Briggs and Charlie arrive but Whistler is in the bathroom dead from a drug overdose and i'm sure has blown Charlie and Briggs' is cover. Charlie asks Quinn where Whistler is and he says he's in the bathroom, Charlie finds that Whistler is dead and yes Quinn found out and makes sure Charlie uses his stash (Damn Charlie Shoots Up The Real Thing, Cant Believe She Did That). Fantastic Episode. Fantastic Show. Thumbs Up.moreless
