Can I moan about a few things?

First : The The 14th Century Castle, Yorkshire (http://www.channel4.com/4homes/ontv/grand-designs/houses/S/skipton.html) Anyone else notice that when they were talking about the "Air Craft Hanger" roof, the bloke says : "Thunderbird 1 is ready for take-off" when Thunderbird 1 comes out of the pool, 2 comes out of the wall!

Second : Didn't anyone else think that the Art Deco house a few weeks back (http://www.channel4.com/4homes/ontv/grand-designs/houses/G/gd_artdeco_guildford.html) was so ugly with the beams exposed? It was really NOT Art Deco!

So I suppose this Forum is for moaning about things you didn't like, go on!

I agree, those exposed beams ruined what could have been a rather nice house.

I find it annoying when the people are just so arrogant, and don't listen to good advice.

And windows always seem to cost a fortune. They usually look really good, but so would some windows at half the price.

Gotta agree on the Art Deco house - it ended up a bit of a mess apart from the outside. As for the Thunderbirds, I'm willing to cut a little slack!

My big gripe with the show is when I hit information on the show and see the re-visited tag. I just fastforward to the last segment of the show and watch that half heartedly. Why can't they at least split it 50/50 rather than simply editing out 10-15 mins of the original and shoving a last visit in at the end?

Hopefully they'll continue to find some grand designs to film though, I think it's the last gem in a otherwise pointless genre (property based reality TV)
