The gravity falls episode that made me laugh the most (so far)
  • Makes use of an overused plot device, but to good effect

Yet another excellent episode. Though it uses the "switching bodies" device, it still has a captivating enough story to keep us interested. The biggest strength in my opinion is the humor, this episode kept me laughing HARD throughout. Made me wish "Baby Fights" was a real show.

One of the best episodes of the season.

This show is made for kids and it has satanic messages with illuminati images..

Yeah, it's another typical switcharoo story, but this is one of the good ones.

Liked that we discovered a couple of talents both twins have. For Dipper when we see both playing their homemade mini golf course which looks cool and from it's designs both could make it an actually business if both wanted let alone had the money. Anyway it was both cool and funny seeing Dipper then hit his ball making it fly, which made a hole in one on one course, but the best thing was the ball banked in places and went out the roof window and hit Gruncle Stan. That was just awesome Dipper should think of taking up the sport "Golf" and be a golfer. We also see Mabel cook up a breakfast for Stan and it's a well shaped omlet of Stan himself, it shows she also has colornary skills. I can't help but wonder what other skills both twins will display in the next episodes.

I love the fact that once again Soos found another secret room in the Shack. It really makes me wonder how many more secret rooms in the shack there are; as well as a little homage to "The Legend of Zelda" games since the dungons in the game have secret rooms. However this makes me wonder about the characters Soos and Gruncle Stan. I can't help but wonder if Soos could in reality be a undercover Goverment agent, if that is the case I'm guessing his objective is to find Stan's main secret room. Because this is the second time he's found a secret room in the Shack, it almost seems like it could be more than a cowencidence or dumb luck. Also this secret room held an experimental rug, which I feel is a slight clue that Stan was either a former goverment agent or scientist, you got to ask yourself where did he get a hold of that invention? I don't know, were just going to have to wait and see. On a side note really like that refernce joke to the "Tetris" video game as Soos was imitating the block movements and shapes, just shows how much of a gamer he is.

Anyway down to the jist of things, it was just fraking hillarous not just seeing both Dipper and Mabel have a real sibling rivalry for once but the fact it's made more complicated by their mind swap sittuation.

It was funny seeing Mabel/Dipper unintentionally bond with Gruncle Stan, as well as strangely touching because it really showed Stan really does want a good father and son like bond with Dipper. Let alone Mabel/Dipper was getting the birds and the bees talk, well had to happen soon or latter or should I say one way or another.

However my favorate was seeing Dipper/Mabel in the sleepover with Candy and Grechen. I couldn't help but laugh my head off when there was a "Twilight" reference joke as Grechen pulled out what looked like a "Twilight" knock off and as you can guess Dipper isn't a fan of the series so hearing the book reading was pure Hell. I can kinda emphasize with that, I'm not a fan of the "Twilight" series either. But it was even funnier when after the reading Grenchen mentioned the 33 sequels it had, Dipper's reaction at the moment was just priceless, I feel your pain man.

Then we see Dipper/Mabel, Candy, and Grechen all play some sort of Mystery Date like board game. It was funny and sad at the same time seeing Grechen and Candy both desperate to hear the programed recording of the phone; this obviously tells you both really don't date much. Don't know what to say about that but for them to hang in there, may'be their love life will change next season.

The little subplot with Soos was funny and bizzare because he swaped minds with Waddles. It was just hillarous that Waddles actually made Soos life better which Soos always lacked the confidence for, from getting a raise from Stan to getting a pritty girl in his life. The final minutes of the episode are just funny with the real Soos and the random pritty girl as we heard minutes before both are engaged to be married and then the next minute their breaking up. This I felt was a parody on the Soap Opera formulas because these things in Soaps always happen, one major character always has BF or GF of the week, get serious for a very short matter of days, break up, then repeat. Even like the way the random pritty girl was acting melodramatic as if she's a character from a Soap.

The third half was really funny as we see things get crazy as many other characters come in the room, walk on the carpet, and then body switch. How they react and what they say is really funny and something you've got to see for yourself.

But then it gets to the final minutes which I found touching and a little sad as we discover Dipper never really wanted the room he still wanted to stay in the attic with Mabel, he actaually loves their time together. Dipper was trying to get the room because he felt he had no place with Mabel anymore or that he was in the way, since she now spending most of her time with her friends. This makes me feel more pathos for Dipper because Dipper really doen't have any friends of his own at least one's his age. Sure theres Wendy but he doesn't really get to spend as much time with her as she want because most of her time is spent (or wasted) with well you know who. Hopefully latter or by next season that will change, I'd personally want him to have a number 2 and 3 friends his age, he really could use support and fresh perspectives. We even see that even Mabel didn't really want the room, she felt Dipper wanted to be alone and she was in the way, but even she loves her time with Dipper.

Both in the end discover that their place really is with each other.moreless
