This was a less excellent episode compared to the previous episode. It had a pretty interesting plot doing some type of Da Vinci Code plot. Some of the hilarious were most of the cold opening, "welcome to 1863," "I break you, Little man!", the man being married to a woodpecker, Mabel and Dipper talking like a pioneer, the exchange with Stan and Steve ("cut me slack!", "slack? I am unfamiliar with this bold, new Stan being thrown to ye stocks after saying "what are you gonna do? Throw me in ye stocks?", Gideon's part, " the story of Quentin Trembly, the top secret document, Dipper making fun of the founder not being Nathaniel Northwest, then Dipper said that revenge feels awesome. Quentin Trembly was funny and so does Stan throughout the whole episode. Overall, this was a very interesting episode of Gravity Falls though it isn't my favorite.

It's pretty much "Gravity Falls" doing "The Da Vinci Code"; this is probably one of my favorate episodes for the show because it focuses on the mystery of the town but for the first time on Mabel which is great. Mabel really shows she can carry out an episode and Dipper supprisingly was more of a second string character. This was an episode that I felt might have been a little inspired by the conspiracy of the Free Mason secret society where supposedly ths society had a big part in the formation of America.

I did like their motive, Pacifica is such a b.... with a capital B. I know that's pretty bold but after humulating and belittling Mabel in public that was just low. Dipper is right about her just because her family supposedly founded Gravity Falls doesn't give her the right to treat everyone like garbage, she's not the center of the universe.

The mystery was intreaging, what made it all the more interesting was it was Mabel herself that figures out the clues while Dipper is the one that falls for the red heirings. I feel this really shows that Mabel is an accidental genius, sure may'be her smarts aren't on the same level as Dipper's but that's because she thinks on a different wave length and utilizes street smarts. But also Mabel is just at her hillarous best, I really thought it was funny how she figured out the statue clue, though my favorate moment was when she says my favorate quote in the episode, "I'm going to legalize I just cracked up when I heard that.

The reveal didn't disappoint in fact it was pretty darn hillarous when we discover the true founder Quentin Tremblely whom was the 8 and a half President of the United States, makes sense since most . presidents before George Washington were forgotten. But anyway we see this president is just as silly/weird as Mabel only difference is this guy is an idiot. Some of the things we here he does are just fraking daft and hillarous, like a war on pancakes, yes I'm not kidding; that wouldn't be a problem just stop making them. But he's says another favorate quote of mine in the episode, "The think we have to fear most is giant man eating that also cracked me up.

When Tremble comes out of his pennut brittle hibernation he really doesn't disappoint, the penut brittle was probably the only hit the guy ever had. But anyway I really like the guy, just like Mabel he was hillarous he had some really funny lines and moments. One moment that was my favorate was when he tells both Dipper and Mabel the story of his time with George Washington.

And of course the conclusion was satisfying, Mabel in the end accepts and appreciates who she is. I really could relate to her dilemma in this episode because like her I'm an outsider as well. Yeah I do things differently and even like certain things out of the norm but I'm not harming anyone and nor is Mabel wearing those colorful sweaters, I like wearing graphic tees. Also people that think and act outside the norm usual have a lot to offer the world and the people in it, heck most people in history even the people that founded and formed this country were. So, people like Mabel will go far, trust me no good comes to girls like Pacifica whom offer nothing. We of course see Dipper give Pacifica her comeupins when he gives Pacifica the documents that prove the founding father of her family is a fraud, just seeing the look on her face was priceless but also love the quote Dipper says, "Revenge is underrated" I highly agree.

But after the epsode it just made me wonder how many more secrets are hidden in Gravity Falls as well as what Gravity Falls was back then. Personal I think the town was a front and was really some secret government intelegence base at the time. I don't know but the Government is no doubt a part of this, who know what else their hiding, what they know about the town, and what the big secret in the town really is.moreless
