This is another really good entry, it's a typical shrink but a good one. I liked there were some reference jokes there were a couple of "Star Wars" homages like the flashlight crystal obviously to the light sabers and a moment where Gideon does something really stupid and shoots the light in a maze of mirrors much like Han stupidly shooting a lazer bolt in the garbage compactor room. And that conflict between Gideon and Stan in the maze of mirrors obviously the final fight between Bruce Lee and the main villain in "Enter the Dragon".

But of course there are a lot of hillarous moments when Mabel stuburnly thinks theres a wizard in the closet. Or even that height fight both Mabel and Dipper get into which was daft and funny as we see both stealing the flashlight crystal and using on each other changing features, like Mabel making Dipper's head big and he becomes a walking bobble head.

I did like seeing Gideon again he got to do a little more, I think he's a solid if not great villain (at least not yet, still waiting for him to do something big). He's really smart almost like Dipper but unfortunately like some of the ill quality cars his dad sells sometimes, Gideon has engine trouble which is why he never reaches the millage he wants. For one thing he's a really lousy son, I'll admit I really felt bad for Gideon's parients because they both seem like good people. I feel it was a truthful moment just showing that it's not always bad parients that create bad people but just simply that the kid is simply no good whether by bad programing by birth or choice. But also this guys just got problems where it just seems like he snaps so easily at the littlest thing that goes wrong in his scheme, it's both funny and disturbing; if there is a mere fingernail flicked onto let's say his oversized Wayne Neuton like hair he'd probably beat the crap out of the person. Yeah, he's that crazy.

But of course one thing about him that stands out is the fact he has mystery book vol. 2 where Dipper has volume. 3 which unfortuntately puts Dipper a step behind. It obviously either has a clue or tells what the big mystery Stan has hiding in the shack is. I can't help but feel Gideon did find the book on his own but that may'be it was from a relative of Gideon whom was a member of some secret society in Gravity Falls" either passed it on or Gideon stole it from. I also can't help since there are three books that means there is more than one main writer, and that each of these book probably if put together will piece together some sort of map that will lead them to the reveal all. I don't know these are just theories we'll just have to wait and see (hopefully not too long and hopefully Dipper or Mabel will jack the third book from him).

The only problems were there were some moments of filler that were boring, Gideon I didn't think was funny enough. But mainly the premise itself didn't go far enough nor feel enough like an adventure; I would of liked to of seen Dipper and Mabel do more in their shrunken state, like fight giant rats and insects or even discover some secrets in places that could add to the shows revolving mystery. But this probably could be done due to time constraints so oh well.

Gideon once again has lost one match but there will be more to come.moreless
