The public doesn't want Allie and she was one of the first to be in the bottom two and she's been artificially kept in because of the judges. I am so tired of that clip of her crying for the part. It's clear who's NOT going to get the parts so why drag this on? Now they're only eliminating one contestant a week instead of two. Shoot me now.
Max is a placeholder. There's no way he's going to win regardless of his playful nature on stage. He doesn't look the part, and trying to make him look 50's is even worse! There's a reason he wears his hair the way he does. Boyish good looks are fine, but not baby boy looks! People are not going to pay to see him play the role of Danny Z, so why don't we just cut to the chase?
Chad's (Chad who?) next to go--still the new kid on the block. Then it'll be Max and Austin. Derek's got the look that will draw people in, so who cares if his voice cracks? He doesn't have to put on the best performance, or sing or dance the best. He's got charisma that beats the pants off the competition, so why are we wasting time? Austin looks about as good for the role as Max.
The brunette displays a lot of natural vulnerability--lots of competition for Ashley S. But in the end, it will probably Ashley.
I could care less about the romance between Max and Allie. They look like an awkward pair that would have nothing to do with each other if it wasn't for this competition, and they'll probably break it off as soon as the first one gets booted.
