Greatest American Dog

I was sad when Bill and Star were booted, but I had a feeling they were done last week, when Bill was chastised for pushing Star. A week or so after being chastised for not pushing Star.



Still, I laughed at the wonder of Mighty Maltese, Andrew, facing that poor, sweet elephant. Andrew's look seemed 'yeah, another big thing is moving at me? Mom says I need to stay. *sigh* Is it over yet?' Very cool and a neat win for Laurie and Andrew!



I did not appreciate the comment, either from Travis or J.D., about how seeing her cry over missing her husband (paraphrased) made her more human. I understand the sentiments, but just because she's as driven as Ron, David, or J.D., she's not less human. The men aren't questioned about THEIR humanity, so Laurie's shouldn't have been. Just saying.



I'm not thrilled that fellow Texans are out, but I'll probably watch the rest of the series.

The theme was courage this week. I thought the Dog Bone challenge was interesting in the sense of seeing which dogs truly trusted their master enough to stay put. However, I would run... so, I don't blame the dogs for trying to get out of there. Anyways, the Best in Show challenge had to do with an obstacle course and zip line. Having the dogs jump off with a harness - they can't even understand what that is, so how are they going to know that they're not going to die when they jump? I don't know...I still that the challenge was interesting though. My favorite pair from the beginning has been Bill and Star and I'm pissed they're gone. They were weakest in this challenge, but overall they have been very strong. Teresa and Travis are a lot worse. Oh well... I hope Galaxy gets better soon or I have no more favorites...
