Anyone else disappointed with his character development? He used to be such an interesting character. He wasn't perfect, and he was often a jerk, but he would occasionally surprise us with heartfelt advice, and he stuck to his values no matter how crazy they seemed to others. Now his character has been reduced to that desperate creep who had sex with his landlady and all he wants is a girlfriend. I like to see him more open-minded, but not so much that he loses what made him a good character in the first place.

Or am I just being picky? He's the only character I'm disappointed with right now.

I typically love Dale, probably because Clark Duke is just so naturally funny, but I'm very mixed on the whole rushing a fraternity thing. I actually can totally see him wanting to be in Omega Chi rather than Kappa Tau for the same reasons Calvin didn't belong in Kappa Tau - they want the organized fraternity that focuses more on tradition. My problem with it is how most of the guys actually in Omega Chi seem to be complete jerks, like Tripp, so he has sort of turned on Rusty and even Calvin, in order to earn their approval which is disappointing.

Agreed. Dale has never been the best friend or the nicest guy. But he was a friend. He has been evolving or rather devolving into the most self-serving character on the show. In that respect he seems quite suited for the Omega Chi.
