WOW. I'm officially hooked on Greek. By the end of the pilot episode I knew that I could love this show. And this episode got me hooked on GREEK. It's amazing how a show can start out bland and boring, but by the second episode make me fall in love with it. I really like all the characters. I also like how there is stuff in the show that girls can enjoy and stuff in the show that guys can enjoy. It is really a unisex show because i shows sororities and fraternaties. I can't wait to watch more episodes.
  • The war between Casey and Rebecca begins.

    "Great"
This was a good episode, made Rusty make a tough choice, and Casey grew a little. She wouldn't take anymore crap from Rebecca anymore. Both step up and get what they want.

    Hazing has begun.

Rebecca isn't satisfied with what she has: a room in the sorority. She wants more: Casey and Ashleigh's room. And of course, Frannie will give Rebecca Logan, Zeta Beta Zeta's treasure, whatever her heart desires. This doesn't work for Casey.

Meanwhile, hazing is going extreme, and this causes a conflict between Kappa Tau and Omega Chi: Who's pledges are better? They decide with... beer pong. But, Rusty has a huge question packet due that he's working on with Dale. Will Rusty choose education, or the Greek system?

"Greek" outdid it's well-executed pilot its second time around, which is actually a little impressive considering the pilot was already a pleasant surprise. I can really appreciate how the how manages to be fun and not fall into contrived and predictable soap opera traps and such that a lot of teen series do.

In this weeks episode, "Hazed and Confused", Casey is still dating Evan, despite the fact that he slept with Rebecca. She decides to get revenge on the pledge by giving her a nearly

impossible task list to complete, which later somewhat backfires. However, someone sends her a video of Rebecca and Evan which allows Casey to blackmail her.

Rusty is trying to juggle school and his fraternity - he is given a test to complete in order to stay in his overbooked physics class. He and his roommate decide to each to half but Rusty ends up not completing it in order to participate in a frat activity so his brothers won't dislike him. In the end it turns out okay: his brothers help him out but it turns out that enough students dropped the class that the teacher does not even bother to grade the tests. Rusty is told by the frat to worry about school first and he decides he can do both.

"Greek" may be a fairly pointless show but I can't help but love it. The cast is likable, the show is well-written and funny, and the central rocky relationship between Casey and Rusty feels real and intriguing. I can't wait to see more.

I loved this episode. Rebecca logan is a sooo full of herself, but she's pretty...lol! I think Casey should be going out with Cappie instead of Evan because Cappie is WAY more excited and funny. My favorite part in the whole episode is when Cappie is like "How the hell could they cancel Gilmore Girls!?!?!?!" lol that was soooooo funny i fell back in my chair. Rusty was really good at ping pong and i liked how his fraternity helped him get his paper in. It was really funny when Cappie told the teacher that he was Evan and that was Evan's fraternity. lol!
  • Rusty has to decide what is more important, his frat or his studies.

I liked this episode, it shows the real challenges of a student who has to make choices and set priorities. I also liked that the frat helped one of its members and that Casey has decided to start acting like a big sister a bit more.

Loved Casey's blackmail, but do wonder who sent the footage to her?

I think Cappie's a great and very likable character who's easy to identify with, most characters are which makes it enjoyable viewing, especially if the good character (Casey) beats the bad character (Rebecca).

I hope they continue in this vein, two great episodes so far of a fun series.
  • You can't have both, or can you?

The thing I love about Greek is that it's filmed in such an un-televisional way. I was thinking about this during the first episode, and it might as well have been part of some college experience teen movie. Where the dork joins a fraternity and ends up as the hot guy on campus. Something like that.

This episode is no different. I love every second of it, I love the characters, the surroundings, the campus vibe, I love it all. The only thing I don't really love is Rusty, he's the biggest loser ever, but we're supposed to see him that way. On a positive note, after winning his fabulous beerpong contest we notice a minor change in his behaviour. Being part of a fraternity isn't all that hard. Just scream and shout uncomprehensible word jumbles, drink alcohol, and you're in. Although our Spitter has to work on that last part.

The division between Rusty and his sister's lifes are done very well. Half the episode revolves around Rusty, half around the scrumptulous love affairs of his sister. I personally prefer the first half, but the fact that there is such a cleancut division makes the show appealing to all audiences.

Another fine installment. Lets hope they can keep up the good work and dodge that axe!
  • Rusty has to balance his advanced major with his pledging duties. Casey tries to get Rebecca to quit rush. The pledges of Kappa Tau Gamma and Omega Chi Delta compete in a beer pong tournament.

So the pledging process begins, and no one feels the strain of this more than the Cartwrights. For Rusty this means balancing his pledge duties, like ironing Cappies underwear (Cappie's Butt may have been the best thing ever, so hillarious), participating in a inter-Frat beer pong tournament, which he kicked ass in cause he is at heart a dork and played ping pong for years, but I did feel bad for him when he asked how does one play, luckily Cappie stepped in, cause there are several variations and names to the greatest game ever invented, and balancing the rigors of his polymer science major. For Casey she is trying to deal with it girl Rebecca who slept with her boyfriend Evan and she now has to be nice to her so that she will not pledge another sorority, this blows up in Casey's face when Rebecca is arrested for sneeking into the men's faculty locker room and the sorority is in trouble for hazing, she tries to snake Casey's big room that she shares for herself until Casey is sent a video message of Rebecca and Evan which would tarnish Rebecca's good girl image.

I loved it, It was funny it was a good episode for Rusty, we get to see him in class and the way he figured everything out eventually. I really did enjoy it. Cappie and Dale are still hilarious. and Casey and Evan are intresting, you can see that she wants to be with Cappie but she wants to be president of that soroity too. It's just a great show and I really can't wait for the next episode. I love Cappie though, look at me it's only the second episode and I'm already obsessed! ! ! ! ! !
  • So far..so good...

I actually think this episode was better than the first, which actually was the pilot, but who cares. And this episode actually had a little but more comedy, and what they said was funnier. Like Cappie being really serious, then just saying "Let's just say what's really on our mind, how could they cancel Gilmore Girls?" That was so funny. And it was really cool what Rusty did. It kinda of made you think if he was gonna choose fraternities or school when Casey told him he had to make a choice. It all came out good in the end. The Casey/Rebecca plot was also good, because you never knew what either one would do to try and get each other back. A really really good episode.
  • Way better than the first episode... (read on)

    9.5

Way better than the first episode. Rusty becomes a more likeable character when he finally does something for the Cappital Frat house and wins in the beer pong game. Casey has to deal with Rebecca Logan (who slept with her boyfriend an episode before). To get back at her Casey hazes her and gets in trouble for it. Cappie displays a once again hysterical preformence. Rusty, after failing to come up with his half of a homework test, gets help from his brother at the frat house. Cappie forms a plan to get the work in after the dead line. Over all this episode was way better than the last and Scott M Foster once again makes the show worth watching.
