  • It's midterms time. Ashley's long distance boyfriend makes a visit. Rusty turns to somewhere other than studying to get a good grade. Casey finds herself drawn to Kappie after getting partnered up for an assignment and doubts her relationship with Evan.

I loved this episode. Kappie is at his most amusing. His Keanu Reeves impersonation was fantastic. And his attempt to woo Casey again was brilliant. And in addition to formally being a science major and a psychology major we learn that Kappie was once a Latin major too. Is there anything that boy can't do?

I was disappointed to see that Ashley's boyfriend was such a fool. No wonder why the Zeta Beta's try to break them out.

Rusty's relationship with Jen K is so cute. They're adorable in that annoying way too sweet counting the hours they've been together kind of way.

I like how Casey and Rusty interact with each other. Their brother/sister relationship is nicely done.

It's midterm time at Cyprus Rhodes and Rusty must go to cheating to pass his Pyshics midterm. Ashleigh's boyfriend Travis visits and the ZBZ girls do not care for him. Cappie attends a class for the third time all semester and gets partnered up with Casey for a written paper as a grade towards their final. Casey is literally laying on Cappie when he tells her fate didn't bring them together, he bribed the teacher with 2 six packs of beer. The ZBZ sisters including Casey tell Ashleigh that she needs to break up her realtionship with Travis, but Calvin tells her to keep her private life private. So she lies and tells ZBZ girls she broke up with Travis. This show just keeps getting better and better!
  • To cheat or not to cheat that is the question enveloped in this episode?

This episode was unbelievably heartwrenching! When Cappie heard that Casey was lavelierred you could see his heart breaking and then those wheels of his starting to turn. In true Cappie style he sneaks his way into Caseys life & wishfully her heart by means of a paper about heroes! While working on this paper Cappie showed all the signs of being a true hero that they described in thier paper! The two best/intense parts were when Casey asks Cappie does he know where he wants to be in ten years and Cappie goes with you! Aww...this was a serious moment and emotion coming from the anti-serious king. Gosh they are so meant to be! The other was at the end when Cappie sees Casey getting lavelierred by Evan & the look on his face was pure love for Casey and sadness that she didn't pick him and then when he holds up his cup to congratulate her in away, he shows that he is truly a hero and a better man and the right one for Casey! Cappie + Casey Forever!

A really good episode, one of my favorites, though, Rebecca could have been used a little. Rusty and Jen's relationship is growing, which is good, I really like the two of them together.

Mid-terms have arrived, and Rusty is totally stressed out. He doesn't know why he came to college in the first place. He thought he came to learn, but now, he just wants to get by. So, with the help of some advice from Casey and Jen, he decides that maybe cheating will work.

Casey and Cappie are paired together for a project, and it lights a few sparks.

When Travis, Ashleigh's boyfriend visits, Ashleigh is urged to break up with him.
  • It is midterms week and everybody is getting ready and studying in their own way.

Rusty is studying for the midterms and thinks he has it down cold when Dale tells him there are 5 more characters to learn before the midterm. Rusty doesn't know what to do and asks Cappie if there are any study materials in the cabinet and Cappie goes into "The Matrix" line saying "You pick the hand with the jellybean in it, you go back to your dorm with a burst of fresh blueberry flavor. No questions asked. You take the other one, and you get to see how deep the rabbit hole goes." I love that line and Cappie did a great impression of Laurence Fishburne. Rusty takes the paper with the number on it and calls for the physics answers. When he gets the envelope of candy in it he thinks he just got ripped off but then notices the ingredients have formulas on it. Rusty can use the candy bars and no one will think bad of having candy on his desk. This was way cool and I loved how Rusty is developing into a character we can love. At first I thought Rusty wasn't going to use it but in the end we see that he did. Rusty then tells Jen K that he cheated and that all he wants is to learn. Jen K has a way to make it better by him actually learning the formulas so that he can say he really knows then now. That was great and I am glad Jen K is there for him.:D Another part of the episode shows Casey and Cappie writing a paper together and how they are getting close and she kisses Cappie. Cappie confuses that he paid the T.A. to pair them together and Casey runs back to Evan. I for one think Casey was happier with Cappie but Evan doesn't resort to tricks to get her to like him. She feels save with him but that doesn't make it love. I think this love triangle with Casey/Cappie/Evan with come to an end soon.:)
  • It is midterms at Cyprus Rhodes and everyone is studying in different ways. As Rusty stresses over his physics test, Cappie and Casey are paired on an assignment, Ashleigh's boyfriend is in town, Dale bribes a T.A., and Evan lavaliers Casey.

Finally an episode free of Rebecca. :)

So I liked this one, it reminded of midterm and finals season, and how crazed it can get and how you can overcaffinated. The Cappie Casey Evan triangle is really heating up, we see Evan's opinion of his archrival, and in that we see how Casey could've fell for him. So Evan lavaliers Casey which is Greek for intention of engagement, I don't believe it was because he saw Cappie as a potential threat. Despite his efforts Cappie could not prevent the lavaliering. I like how Rusty is turning to Cappie more and more for advice. I want to know who is behind the genius plan to print study aids on candy bars.

The Ashleigh story was the most compelling for me, as it pitted her against her life with her boyfriend, who was a jerk. I thought though it was a good parallel for the theme of the show. Frannie went to far thoguh, but Casey was dead on, it is not him, but the way he treats you that was the problem.

this was such a great episode. I really think it's the best yet. Cappie is such a sweetie. he wanted to be partners with Casey for an assignment, so they might get together again. I think it's so cute how Cappie still really likes Casey. Evan and Casey get really close, when Cappie is trying to get closer with Casey. Everyone from their sorioty thinks that Ashleigh should breakup with her boyfriend that shes had for like a year. Casey agrees with their sisters, and that makes Ashleigh mad. So they start to fight. Ashleigh really likes him, so she decides to tell everyone she broke up with him, but she secretly is still going out with him. Calvin is the only person who knows though. this was such a great episode. I felt so bad for Cappie, because he still likes Casey so much, but Evan and Casey are still close together.

maybe in the longrun Cappie & Casey will end up together.

    :)
  • It's mid-terms and Rusty has to make an important decision about college life. Ashleigh too, has to make a decision about her boyfriend.

If Bittersweet had been a classification, it would have been the perfect classification for this smart and clever and bittersweet episode.

The writers are very clever and make it very difficult to outright support either Cappie or Evan. Both have their good points and both have their bad points. This excellent episode showed that Cappie has hidden depths, with regards to feelings and with regards to knowledge. His Latin sparring match with Travis was brilliant and hilarious. His cooperation with Casey while writing their paper was fantastic as well. Then there was his honesty about how he got the assignment and became Casey's partner. All positive points, but Casey's focus is more on the future and what Evan can mean for her. Who will she end up with...

omg! i loved this episode so much, it was the best. i really loved everything going on between casey and cappie and how cappie was really showing a different side of himself that i don't think we've ever really seen much of, the fact that when he works he is pretty smart. i loved how he was working so hard to help casey on the project so she wouldn't do it by herself. and i loved when they were at the bar and travis and cappie and the latin speaking showdown. i thought that was really funny :)

my favorite part was at the end when beaver and cappie were talking about the movie they had just seen and cappie was talking about how the hero always wins and good always triumphs evil. i thought that was a really good speech for cappie :) then it just broke my heart when evan gave casey his letters and cappie saw, you could def. see the hurt in cappies eyes when him and casey were looking at each other.

i was like 'aww' that was my favorite.

and i liked all the heart-to-heart talks between ashleigh and calvin. and i liked how he was telling her she shouldn't break up with travis unless she wants to. i really thought that he was going to tell her he was gay but he didn't, that made me mad, cause ashleigh is like is best girlfriend and i bet she would still love hanging out with him :)
  • this episode was soooooo sad!!!

i felt soooooo bad for cappie because casey decided to stay with evan. in the episode we finally got to see ashleigh's boyfreind shes always taking about. hes seems very rude and he thinks hes soooo cool. but when cappie called him out with his knowledge of latin. that was funny. in this episode you see that cappie is actually smart. but near the end i think he shouldnt of told casey he bribed the teacher to pear them up. but i was really happy because cappie and casey kissed because usually casey acts like she is going to kiss him but just pushes him away. and ashleigh and casey's freindship doesnt look so good as to seeing next weeks episode.
