At the restaurant, every time Oliver says the word "champagne", a cork pops and a bottle of champagne is brought to him and Lisa.
Eb actually enters through the Douglases' closet twice and doesn't toss the door onto the floor.
During his dance lesson from Oliver, Eb imagines himself a great tap dancer and a Flamenco dancer.
Oliver claims Lisa took him to a "clip joint" restaurant on their first date, the Liechtenstein Luau. The waiter opened three bottles of champagne at $28 a pop.
Lisa has removed the labels from all of her canned goods. When you open a can, you get either chili con carne or dog food.
In another version of how Lisa and Oliver met, Oliver claims to have talked with her on the deck of a ship traveling from Europe to New York. The boat's preserver says "S.S. Titantic-Not the one you think".
Lisa : That's why I love you. You're always hollering, but you have a soft spot in your head.
Oliver: Heart.
Lisa: There, too.
Eb: (to Oliver and Lisa) Gees! Sometimes it's hard for me to realize the two of you are as old as you are!
Eb: (after taking Oliver's dating advice too far) A fine father you are!
Oliver: I'm not your father!
Eb: I'm glad! The kind of advice you give!
Lisa: (discussing Betty Jo) She's beautiful. Eb: Yeah, she's got the kind of face that would make any man forget his sardines.
Betty Jo was a regular character on Petticoat Junction, from which Green Acres was a spin-off.
