Doggone if I don't believe that I got one on my truck. Oliver: On your truck? Haney: Just another service of the Haney Curbside Employment Agency.
Lisa: (reading the phone company motto that has several letters missing) Ervice Is Ur Mott. Do you know what that means in Hungarian? The customer is chopped liver.
Trendell:(informing Oliver that his mother, Sarah the operator, has quit) She wouldn't work for him after he stole the company from me. Oliver: What are you talking about? I didn't steal the company from you. You-you-you gave it to me! Trendell: That's not Mom's version. She's going around telling people how you got me drunk, lured me into a poker game and won the company from me with a marked deck. Oliver: What? Lisa: That's the way he won me from the count. Only that time he did it with loaded dice.
Haney says his stock brokers are Fishburger, Fishburger, Fishburger, Fishburger and Frye. They also performed on "the old Keith Circuit" as the Four Fishburgers and Frye. The Keith Circuit was a major chain of vaudeville theatres that operated starting at the turn of the 20th century.
