Green Acres Season 6 Episode 26

With this final episode, Eddie Albert (Oliver) and Eva Gabor (Lisa) are the only two actors to appear in every episode of the series. Tom Lester (Eb) is the runner-up, appearing in 149 of the 170 episodes.

This was a pilot for a proposed series. Oliver & Lisa only appear in the very beginning to introduce a whole new set of cast members set in California. Oliver does appear several times throughout the episode, via telephone, talking to Carol.

This was a pilot for a loosely connected spinoff of Green Acres. It was based in California and followed the adventures of a kooky secretary and her over-domineering boss, a la The Lucy Show. It never got off the ground as this was the time CBS canceled Green Acres and all other rural based series. The network sought a younger and more urban audience and brought in edgier shows such as All in the Family.
