I thought this wasn't just a good follow up but it was also a good season finale to a first season that has proven this show to be so good so far. There are a lot of little moments I really like, one moment was with Aya as she was being controled by the elfen girl alien (forgot her name) and Atrocitus is giving commands we see Aya shed a tear despite the fact she's a robot/computer, I'll admit at that moment I couldn't help but feel for her character. It just goes to show how truely human Aya is, sure she's a robot but she has the ability to feel which means she's a living being.

I like the fact that the Saphires state that the key to going though the portals they create is to think of the person you truely love. With Hal it was no supprise, there was good chemestry between both Hal and Carol as usual, but also is an example on how superheroes in loving relationships really do work it is what truely makes them stronger not weaker. If Hal wasn't in love with Carol and likewise with her then he wouldn't of had help from Carol in getting his memory back. The best part of that portal sequence was with Razor which was a sweet supprise as we see the one he loves is Aya as he saves her from that Elf b...., and then both have a slightly touching moment.

The action was good, I really like the battle sequence with Killowag, Saint Walker, and the Green Lanturn Planet against the Red Lanturn Armada, it was pritty much a few against the world battle. Those guns Killowag formed I thought were really cool, the best thing about forming guns with the power ring is you never run our of ammo and make them as powerful as much as you want, he's just blasting the crap out of any ship in his sights. Saint Walker was also kicking some butt, his attacks were based on agility and percision as he just hit all of the vital spots on one warship and it exploded, sort of like acupunture. And of course we see the Planet Green Lanturn in action, in a way you the Planet Green Lanturn is kinda like the Death Star in "Star Wars" only it's on the good guys side which makes it cooler.

The battle between Atrocitus and Hal I thought was decent and that it the only disapointment of this episode I wish the physical contest between both Atrocitus and Hal should of been longer, would of liked for both to have more back and forth what weapons both would form against one another. But I like the fact that before Hal fought against attocitus and at the end of the fight he execised reason with the Red Lanterns and I really like what he said I believe in that myself, that two wrongs really don't make a right and that it would be better to find a peaceful solution to problems instead of having to resort to violence that would cause more problems and lose more lives.

The ending felt good as we see Hal and the Green Lanterns trymph over the Red Lanturns and have some sort of peace treaty with them. Whether it will last or not is really up to both of them. And Hal goes on his long awaited date with Carol.moreless

    • Kilowog: So that's it? That's your plan? Fine. I juts got one question. Are you nuts?!?
Hal: Okay, this harebrained scheme makes my other schemes seem well-thought-out and practical. But what else can we do?

    • Gieta: Then go in the spirit of love.
Razer: Love will doubtless be foremost in my mind as I hurl myself into the path of an unstoppable armada.

    • Hal: You're right. What the Manhunters did to your sector was a tragedy. Your rage is earned. But destroying life here isn't going to change what happened there. Let's work together to find a solution. A way to make things better for the people of the Forgotten Zone. Let us help.
Atrocitus: You can help, earth man. Your dying screams will help soothe the restless souls of our dead!

    • Zilius Zox: You will find me a loud and grating voice of justice for my sector, Guardian. Whatever reparations you think are enough, start by doubling them.
Hal: Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. More or less.

    • Appa: 2814, you have not yet been debriefed. That is, we Guardians have not yet had a chance to, uh... thank you, Hal Jordan.
      Hal: You just did.
