  • On Hiatus.....AGAIN?!?!?!

Just checked my other resources and come to find out that the new episodes of both GL and Young Justice that were supposed to air today, can be viewed on iTunes, but CN put them on hiatus until January 2013. What gives?!?! You put them on hiatus all Summer, then bring them back for two weeks, and then put them on hiatus again?!?! This is such BS!!! Sorry if I am coming off harsh, but I am completely steamed right now!!! And believe me, steamed is an understatement!!!moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (0)

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Steam Lantern: We named it "hardtofindium" because it's really, really...
Hal: Yeah, I get it. So, you're basically wearing a nuclear reactor you cobble together with chicken wire and string?

    • Steam Lantern: Top floor, Mr. Jordan. Topcoats, top hats, various dry sundries, and the gateway to your universe.

    • Duke Nigel: Can you forgive me in the short bit we have left?
      Steam Lantern: Of course.
Catherine: Time for one last tea, then?
      Duke Nigel: Quite.
Hal: Whoa whoa. There's no time for tea now.

    • Steam Lantern: For the best then. I don't think I want to live on a world without sunrise.
Catherine: Me, neither. How would we know when it was time for tea?
Hal: Oh, enough with the stiff-upper-lippery. No one is going to die on my watch.

  • NOTES (3)

    • The reference to a Green Lantern with a red shirt and a cape is to the Golden Age Green Lantern, Alan Scott, who wore just such a costume and wielded a magical power ring on his left hand that was vulnerable to wood.

    • Injoke: Steam Lantern's real name of Gil Broome is taken from the creators of the Silver Age Lantern, Gil Kane and John Broome.

    • This episode was originally scheduled to premiere in the U.S on 10/13/2012, but was preempted at the last minute by Cartoon Network and held back until 2013.
