  • Good cop, bad cop

    8.0
Great episode. I am surprised that in 9 years of Grey's, the story of a Jehova's Witness hasn't been addressed before. I'm glad that Meredith is enjoying the pregnancy and I really hope they don't try and kill that storylline.

The relationship issues with Arizona and Callie were a little forced but relevant in order for them to deal with their patient. The future is definitely looking beak for SGMWH though.moreless
  • The Next Phase ................

    8.5
Great episode. Although, some parts were below average. Nothing really big, but my patience wasn't at its best days. I really thought that Arizona was trying another tactic with that unbearable teen. Great move, Doctor! The story with that Jehova's Witness was really disturbing. I was totally submerged in mixed feelings.

What does its episode a big entertainment show is that sometimes, the last 5 seconds of each episode drops on you some intriguing questions. It's more like a bomb, that might explode on the next episode or not. Awesome!moreless

    • Meredith: (closing voiceover) To really be efficient you have to eliminate what doesn't work. You have to figure out what's important and hold on tight to the things that matter most.

    • Alana: It's easier if there's a bad guy.
Owen: My people just care about this place.
Alana: I know. I know you're all upset, especially you, losing your E.R. But I also know that without me, you'd lose this entire hospital. So if you need to blame me instead of thank me, I'm fine with that, because I will know who saved it. I've saved a dozen before just like this one, and no one thanked me for those either.

    • Meredith: I would be happy to give you some pointers if you'd like.
Bailey: That bun in the oven may give you job security, Meredith Grey, but it does not make you immune from a smack in the mouth.

    • Owen: I'd just like to hear you name one thing that you can put in there that's more useful than an E.R.
Alana: It's still under review, but--
Owen: In the army, the guys at the front get the most saves. Why? Because the closer you are to the moment of injury, the better chance you have to help. That is what an E.R. is.

    • Meredith: (opening voiceover) We've all heard the buzz words: "Streamline, optimize, integrate, adapt." Every day someone comes up with a new strategy or tool or technology to increase our efficiency. The idea is to make our lives easier. But the question is, does it?

    • Meredith: They've installed cameras.
Cristina: They're all over the C.C.U. Next they'll be in the O.R.s, the hallways, the on-call rooms. We're being spied on, Mer. Who knows what evil lurks behind that electronic eye?
      Male Voice: Morning, Dr. Yang.
Cristina: Big Brother knows my name.
Meredith: Big Brother can see your name tag.
