  • Not really why I watch it, cause it was such a sad episode, still it was a great one!

I assumed from the moment Meredith was thrown into the water that Derek would be the one finding her. It was kind of a predictable episode, all scenes you could feel what was next to come, still I wasn't disappointed at all by any of it...I found it really well done, all shows need from time to time an episode like this.
Izzy...I think she was the 'hero' (like she was calling herself) of the episode...positively and negatively. She escaped from the probation-period due to the surgery she made by drilling holes into the brain of that guy under the car, in front of his friends...that was heart-stopping scene. But she blew it off with her speeach, that began really supporting for all and ended with being a bit cruel to George with regard to his marriage (she deffinately is gealous on the fact that George didn't announced 'his best friend' about his intentions, and she doesn't like Callie at all.
As for Derek...so sad and crying, and seeing Mark supporting and being there for him made me just cry like a baby! I just couldn't stop, it was too emotional. I'm sure Meredith won't die, they would do a big mistake by 'letting' her die...I liked so much how they showed all her friends being noticed through pagers about Meredith and how their faces were changing...wow!!! I wonder who will save her, I hope it will be Addison, cause she seemed shocked about all this, she seemed really sorry for him, she must save Meredith in my oppinion.
Meredith can't die, won't die...she has to survive, they have to let her live...it must be a happy ending show!!!
I just cant' wait for the next episode...please, let her live!!! No other show was capable, in my oppinion, to express the love between two people, like they did with Meredith and her McDreamy!moreless

  • Part 2 of the Ferry accident where Meredith has already fallen in the sea and noone really noticed till it was almost too late. Derek saved Meredith but she seems to be dying... Can't wait for the next episode to find out.moreless

I know and everyone else knows Meredith will not die... But seeing McDreamy's looks when he saves Meredith, tries to revive her and tearing, make me cry too. He makes me think, I want a man like him too... Also, the look on Addison's face when she saw Meredith on the table and McDreamy squatting outside with tears in his eyes... Simply classic... This episode reminds why I love Grey's Anatomy, may not be the best doctors' show ever but definitely the one with the coolest people who will put you to tears with their emotions, love and relationships...moreless

The second part of this three parter about a ferry disaster begins with the hospital dramas title character in the water. An injured man has shoved Meredith off the dock and the only witness to her plight is a traumatised girl who is struck dumb with fright. So we're left to worry whether Meredith will live or die as her colleagues go about the business of saving lives at the scene of a large-scale emergency. Watching Izzy struggling with her insecurities while trying to help a man trapped under a car, George searching for a missing boy and Alex Karev battling his natural brusqueness to deal with grief stricken relatives searching for their loved ones, the thought surfaced that whiny Meredith is the character that could be missed the least, should she fail to emerge from the icy water. This episode is absorbing because of where it takes characters such as Izzie George and Alex, each rising to the occasion by demonstrating different qualities of grace under pressure.moreless

  • Great episode. As good as the the previous. The team goes emotional when they see Meredith with hipotermia and close to death.

The good stuff was almost everything: Izzie out of probation and rocking that drill was a prove of Izzie being able to be back in the game. The little girl scenes were just fine. Derek freaking out was something hard to watch, but it was fine.
I like how they can connect histories in this series: from Alex quest for the pregnant chick, going to George's search, going to Callie's storie, and then to Mer's drama . I liked how the crew treated each other and supported themselves in the middle of this disaster. The interns being a team was an excelent card. Little things that I didn't like about the epidode: Burke acting hysterically, Sidney (of course) and Cristina's heart made of ice. But I think that the worst thing of the episode was to hear Izzie's speach and then attacking George with no good reason. She should have waited a little more or said nothing at all. And then, Meredith without wishes of survival or whatever was just lame. She's not a fighter anymore and the show is gonna go really down if this doesn't change soon.
A lot of emotions are shown in this episode! I hope the third part is as great as the previous episodes.moreless

Meredith was so blue in the face, almost scary. And at the end she is dead, but I don't think so. In some miracules way I think she'll get a heartbeat again. The shows name is Grey's they just can't kill her, that will be too stupid will I say. And Izzie is totally living after The Secret, maybe Oprah had some influence when she crashed the set a while ago. All her talk about believing in the good, and that Meredith will survive, they will all survive. Just by thinking it, she is convinced it will happen in some way.moreless

    • Goof: In the scene where they bring Meredith to the trauma room, Derek is forced to leave. When he exits, Bailey says "Ok, she has a new 18-gauge in her left A.C. Push 1 of epi through it". And then we see one of the nurses, pushing something (my guess is the epi) through a line in the right side of Meredith's body. Shouldn't it be reversed? Edit
    • Goof: In the scene where interns gather in front of the door (when they all find out what happened to Meredith) watch Cristina's left arm and her watch. In the beginning, she has it, which can be seen when she lifts her arms towards her head. In the scene after Izzie's speech, she doesn't have it. Then, when Izzie comes to hug her, the watch is part of her outfit again. There was no way for her to remove it and then put it back on... Edit
    • Goof: Notice the scene where Alex goes in to see his "Jane Doe" (the pregnant girl), when he tells her that he expects to find her still alive after her surgery. In the close-up shots of Jane Doe, her face is entirely black and blue, but look again at her when the camera zooms out. It could just be a lighting issue, or an angle change that makes it look different, but in any case, her face doesn't look the slightest bit bruised then. Edit

    • George (entering Callie's surgery room): Callie. Callie: O'Malley, I'm working. What do you want? George: I read on the board you're doing an internal fixation of the lumbar spine. On a John Doe from the ferry crash, age 7. Callie: That's right. George: Can I see his face? Callie: I'm in the middle of surgery. George: I know. I... (showing her a picture of the boy) Is this boy your patient? I-I know the picture's half smeared and hard to see, but... Please tell me it's him. Tell me he has been right here under my nose, open on your table all day and not... Drifting along the bottom of the ocean. Just... Please tell me that. Callie: Hold the photo under the light so I can get a better look. (smiling) Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, that's my kid. I could spot those goofy ears anywhere. George: Really? Callie (nodding): Really. George (before leaving the room, smiling at the door): Callie O'Malley... I can't kiss you right now because you're scrubbed in, but tonight... When you get home, I am going to... Callie: Okay. George: Okay. All right. Callie (to the nurses scrubbing in): You know what, people? Let's focus here. (to George) George, I'm working. Yeah. I'm... I'm working. So... Yeah. Bye. Edit
