I loved Off I go when George and Izzie met in the elevator.

Corner of my heart by Ingrid Michaelson was also beautiful. How to save a life, of course

Chasing Cars and The City which I think played during the "you're my person" scene. But chasing cars is perfect television.

Whatever plays during the bomb disposal scene with Christina Ricci was pretty good too.

I have an entire playlist full of songs that I love on Greys but the most recent one I would say was in this last episode Cosmic Love by Florence and the Machine. I think they should have saved that song for the finale lol.

Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol: Thats just a classic, its perfect, emotional and with a really nice b-section that rly breaks through.

How To Save A Life - The Fray: Its almost hard NOT to have in any dramaish show today, coz coz its a brilliant song! Especially for Grey's and Scrubs!

The Quest - Bryn Christopher: The final scenes that's cut together in season 4 is just SO good coz of this song, so filled with passion and compassion.

High - James Blunt: I already loved this song before it was showed in season 2, but its amazing, and Blunt has a rly nice voice to do these emotionally filled songs.

Breathe (2AM) - Anna Nalick: Perfect for the bomb scene aftermath, especially just the first 2 lines she sings without hardly any music is beautiful.

Love Will Come Through - Travis: Well.. Travis is just an awesome band, and this song has been used A LOT for several different series.

Ain't Nothing Wrong With That - Robert Randolph & The Family Band: Just a great upbeat, sassy and cut-through-right-in-your face song.

Somewhere Only We Know - Keane: Keane is great, and this rly is a perfect fit song for Grey's imo.

Running On Sunshine - Jesus Jackson: A sexy more happy song, but still with a edge.

Fools Like Me - Lisa Loeb: Awww such a feel good happy song before everything got so complicated!

Off I Go - Greg Laswell: This song built up the perfect tension, perfect choice!

Keep Breathing - Ingrid Michaelson: She's amazing, her music is so heartfelt, also prolly why they have used so many of her songs on the show.

Like A Star - Corinne Bailey Rae: Who doesnt remember the highley emotional ending where Mere ends up sleeping with George.. and the First episode where the words: "What if you're wrong? What if just this once life comes down on the side of the dirty mistresses?" is said by newcomer Mark Sloan to Mere in the bar.

How to Save a Life and Chasing Cars were really memorable. I luv Regina Spektor so it was nice to hear her song "Fidelity" and "On the Radio" used. The 2AM Breathe has also always been one of my favorites.

Gotta be the mighty Chasing Cars which became an international phenomenon.

Also I love The City from series 1. Also the Missy Higgins track "Where I Stood" from that episode where the paramedic is trapped. But the song has been in other shows too so it spoils it a bit.

    Awesome.

GA always has such good music. But there are two scenes that combine great acting with amazing music:

    Chasing Cars when Denny dies.

Keep Breathing when Burke stood Christina up.

    those are just Epic!

Grey's has the most amazing music! You guys listed a lot of the good ones already, but I think these should be mentioned, too:

Kate Havnevik: Grace (when Denny dies/MerDer prom sex)

Priscilla Ahn: Dream (Beth/Jeremy sex scene, season 4 finale)

Jont: Another door closes (season 5 premiere)

Damien Rice: 9 crimes (Christina telling on Burke in season 3)

Kate Havnevik: New Day (same episode)

Rilo Kiley: Portions for Foxes (Pilot)
