If it were me, I would also ask to completely remove it. I do not want to live through that physical break down, to live only to count my final days, waiting for death to come. Seeing somebody deteriorating physically is horrible and, after he or she is gone, when you think of him or her, these memories will come up way too much.

What a wonderful story to be able to tell, and what a brave woman for being able to tell it, and tell it so beautifully. Thank you

You're so right, it must have been..but watching it, having lost my own father 9 years ago, it was soooooo clear that whoever wrote the episode wrote straight from the emotional side because it hit places only truth, not fiction, can hit. One of the best episodes to date as far as I'm concered. Exceptional acting by everyone too. If they put up an episode for Emmy this year, this would be the one to submit.

yeah i was listening to the podcast and she said that when they were doing rehersals for six days part 1 and george is like "thats my dad" she burst into tears and t.r. came after her (he's so sweet (:  )

also the farting hall scene and his dad   going behind their backs really happened

My Family, after watching this episode, and seeing the "In Memory of Bob Verne" were all in awe, as my grandfather's name was Bob Verne also. Very strange to see that, so everyone was wondering why/how this episode was dedicated to my grandfather. ... Well obviously, come to find out, it was not about my grandfather. But the plot of the story, is pretty close to how my grandfather had passed away!!!!! talk about strange!!!!!!

    Great episode!!!...

That is such a sad story. Actually Krista's blog made me cry more than the episode itself! That chick has amazing strength to do an episode that deep and personal. Thanks to her for sharing it with us I say.
